This book is another great work. It continues the story where the last one left off and you get to meet “Father” well kind of.

Love the “team” dynamics and Yellow Eyes is as always funny.

Write more as I need to know how it ends if it ever does. Also this should be a TV series

Anytime I get to hear that smart ass AI I know it is a going to be a good book. This was not a disappointment, and we find out more about Roak than we have before which is great. Adding the character Yellow Eyes was a huge plus and I would love to see this book turned into a TV Series. Heck, the whole series should be created so I can see the characters become more real.

Thanks for writing such a great book.

The Call of the Wild is a short adventure novel by Jack London published in 1903 and set in Yukon, Canada during the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush, when strong sled dogs were in high demand. The central character of the novel is a dog named Buck. The story opens at a ranch in Santa Clara Valley, California, when Buck is stolen from his home and sold into service as a sled dog in Alaska. He becomes progressively feral in the harsh environment, where he is forced to fight to survive and dominate other dogs. By the end, he sheds the veneer of civilization, and relies on primordial instinct and learned experience to emerge as a leader in the wild.

The book is great! This story doesn't need any gadgets to be interesting. The story is told from the dogs perspective and that makes this a great classic book. I was at times worried for the dog, for the owner and for anyone who got close to the dog.

This book was great to listen to. Makes me wish Audible did some sort of storybook mode that allows you to watch the book turn pages just like you were reading along with the book. Kids will love it and again this book was cute to listen to.

This book really makes you think what if and takes the idea of prepping to another level and
start to realize how your smallest action could have very life-threatening actions. I bought book 2 while in the middle of listening to book 1 and am not disappointed. This series is great and you follow the lives of 2 groups trying to survive in a world where the power may take years to come back online. It actually has me looking into my own ways of "prepping" and I never thought it would do that.

It does not preach prepping but gives hints to what you might have to do to survive. I am hoping the Author continues the series as this was great to listen to and found myself putting on my headphone and doing things like cleaning the kitchen while listening.

Buy this series you will not be disappointed, but do start with book one

Ripley's a tomboy at heart who has never met a stranger. Her plans were to finish her veterinary studies and take her family to the country, where life wouldn't be such a struggle. She thought the worst she'd have to deal with at the University of Maryland were the unwelcome advances and attitudes of affluent students, and the occasional East Coast hurricane. She never expected the sun to fall down.

The book makes you think what if the power never came back. What would happen to good people and bad? This Book follows the perspective of 2 groups of people one is a group of college kids trying to make it home and the other is home and what happens in the small town in Maryland. This type of storytelling is great because it allows you to see 2 different points of view and you hope they make it.

Read book 1 first then go to the book the author has a talent I don't see in many authors these days
