- By: Mitchell Lüthi
- Narrated by: Scott Miller
- Length: 1 hr and 28 mins
A devastating plague is sweeping the continent of Greater Virren. Its origin is unknown, its dominance of the land near complete. In times of grim desperation, pestilence has given way to superstition, and the citizenry are now more divided than ever. Yet the city of Rothenberg remains inexplicably untouched.... The council has grown convinced of their immunity, even as their neighbors are consumed before them. As the world teeters on the brink of collapse, a zealous religious order has reemerged. They claim to have discovered the source of the plague...but can they be trusted?

Sentinel Creatives, in collaboration with Citadel Studios, have done an incredible job of bringing this short tale to life, and the attention to detail is just incredible! Scott Miller’s performance as the narrator, and many of Greater Virren’s inhabitants, is believable and entertaining; and the sound effects and original score are fresh, immersive, and of a very high quality. I really hope this wasn’t a once-off, and that they’ll work alongside Citadel Studios again for the next installment of the Plagueborne Series, as this audio drama is a significant cut above the rest.
