It's been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they've given him have been violent and bloody - which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth: He has to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the earlier series, and I cried as I listened to the Sentinel.

This book, I had to fast forward with the male narrator. I find his voice over hyped. Both his accent and his 'emotions' simply overdone. That is the reason I take off 1 star for performance. On the other hand, I love Justine Eyre's performance.

The story is alright, dragging a bit for those of us who have listened to the earlier series. I expect The Struggle would be much better.

I love everything about it. The depth of emotion, the pain so vividly expressed an Veronica Fox's range of voices. Her sultry voice is perfect. I have listened to the whole stripped series and can't wait for more.

A nice erotic fantasy. A light story, better than most in it's genre. I enjoyed it. Worth the money I paid. Emily Locke is a very suitable reader. Enjoyed her characterisations.

Thoroughly enjoyed the book. Brought me to tears a number of times.

One star reduced for overall because of the not so stella recording. My enjoyment was often marred by the sound of the moving of the microphone and towards the later part, the quality of the recording deteriorated significantly for about 10 mins.

Gideon Cross. Falling in love with him was the easiest thing I've ever done. It happened instantly. Completely. Irrevocably. Marrying him was a dream come true. Staying married to him is the fight of my life. Love transforms. Ours is both a refuge from the storm and the most violent of tempests. Two damaged souls entwined as one.

The final conclusion to this series has great potential but for the most annoying padding summarising the earlier books in the series. Take away the padding and you get about 3 hours of the story.

Linden McGregor is tall, rugged, and gunslinger handsome - a helicopter pilot with a Scottish brogue and charm to spare. He's also one of Stephanie Robson's best friends and has fit into that box for as long as she's known him.
