Great material, hard to listen to.

Beni and Bill have once again delivered great teaching that reveals the depths and clarity of thought they are known for. For me, this book has confirmed many things in familiar as well as new ways, and has also brought "out of the woodwork" things that are new to me. In those respects this has been a worthwhile purchase.

The mistakes in pronunciation made by the narrator makes listening less than a pleasure. "Palms" for "Psalms," and "profeCtic" for "prophetic" are 2 of the more grating errors among several that stand out. For a professional narration, I would expect a bit better preparation, and perhaps a "proof-hearer" (if such a professional exists) would be of great help prior to publication. Buyer beware, but with a bit of "grace practice" this is a worthy addition to your audiobook library, especially if you read and listen on your Kindle.

Great material, but somewhat difficult to listen to.

Dr. Clark's research, experience, and scholarship is thorough and broad, bringing much needed clarity to the discussion of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. I have found much food for thought here.

As for the narration, I have heard other works of Mr. Crockett's, and while I still cringe every time I hear him say "subSEEquent," I happily note the continued improvement in his craft. All in all, a bit difficult to listen to but worth the small stuggle!

Much better results than "active listening" can provide.

As a chaplain I find much here that helps in my work with the people I'm called on to walk through some of the overwhelming incidents in their lives. This validation serves to foster rapport quickly while giving "stuck" emotions safe room to start moving toward the "new normal" that is needed after a critical incident has been experienced.

This material is well thought out and we'll presented so that just about anyone can quickly employ it for great benefit in their lives, and in the lives of those with whom they interact.

I love a book of tips that is exactly that - straight to the point, and Wall to wall actionable examples. This book takes the cake!

Well read, easy to listen to, this book deserves many a "re-hear" to catch all of the pieces that go into crafting stories that captivate and compel.

Lots of info, it's going to take several repeats to digest it all. Thought provoking, to say the least!

The author clears out the distortions that many have taught us to cling to as our view of business, and consequently our view of ourselves wrapped in those distortions, thereby setting us free to pursue our vocations as Godly, pure-hearted ways of presenting His "wonderfulness" in the world.

Clear and concise, I recommend this book wholeheartedly !

A quick set of experiences that illustrate how many encounters with Jesus and angels take place in the world today. The story of the "hunt" was especially evocative for me, having been hunted, and saved, in similar ways.

Not a "how to," but sometimes all you need is to know you're not alone....

I admit it. I got offended by this author's words in the very first chapter, which was odd to me, because I bought the book knowing this was right! Funny thing, this "offense." by the end however, I loved the whole thing! Best narration I have heard in an audio book, and the author's point is right "on point." I HIGHLY recommend giving ear to this!
