Lucy Hutton has always been certain that the nice girl can get the corner office. She's charming and accommodating and prides herself on being loved by everyone at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone except for coldly efficient, impeccably attired, physically intimidating Joshua Templeman. And the feeling is mutual.

I don’t even know where I begin. Well, I rarely write reviews but I had to say something about this book. The story is so weak. The two main characters lack in so many things. And it is so predictable that if I say something about the story here you will figure out the whole book in seconds. Besides the narrator nothing is good about this book. I thought that 50 shades of a Gray was awful, well, this has a similar plot and but 10 times worse. Skip it. I wish I did it.

The whole story narrated by Scott Brick is amazing. You will keep guessing and get intrigued through the story. And like I said on the review title, Pendergast is an one of a kind character. This is my first book on the series and it really caught me. I'm reading Brimstone now and enjoying every chapter.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Like I said, if you like conspiracy theories, espionage, FBI, NSA, CIA kind of books, I'd recommend this one for you.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Black List?

The way that Harvath describe his sequence of thoughts, how he thinks before, during and after all his assaults.

Which scene was your favorite?

Its hard to point just one but I'd say that I really like the one that Nicolas talk about his life and how he ended up in Texas to help his friend.

It's dark, intriguing and has a great narration. But trying to not spoil much, I just want say that the ending was disappointing, a total anticlimax.

The performance is bad. The male voices are not Becca Battoe' s thing. It was hard to match Christian Grey’s description with his voice.
The story was spicy. I usually listen on my car. Best way to forget about traffic. Some parts were very explicit (can really make you gasp) and made awkward and somehow funny to look on the car right on my side. I really got curious about the subject and even googled more about the whole S&M thing. Christian Grey is a fascinating character. If this book really turns to a movie, I am very curious to see who will play his role. It got be someone with a high sex appeal. Anastasia Steel is a very naive character. Maybe way too naive, this makes some of her self thinking a little boring. But is a worth to try book and made me want to read the second one.

The first book was ok and kept me interested to know more about Christian Grey. The performance of Becca Battoe was ok on this and on the first one. I agree with another reviewer that her male voice was not good. But the worse is how weak the story gets on this book. The author even tried to put some action on the story with some creepy people and situations but it was not good enough and the book sank on a repetitive "vanilla sex" narrative. It became a "Sabrina" book. I gave up the trilogy. Not planning to get the third one.
