The biggest story of her life is the one he wants to hide. I’m homeless by choice. I have no intention of returning to my former life after what I’ve done. This - living among the filth and discarded remnants of others - is what I deserve. As atonement for my sins, I give back; I help those who cannot help themselves. But it’s always under the guise of anonymity. Newspaper headlines throughout the city are clamoring to discover my identity. Including the beautiful woman who manages to see through my “armor.” She has the capability to put my entire life at risk.

What a refreshing story! I loved it! I think I needed such an uplifting book right about now to feel that not all hope is lost, but there's still a chance for humanity. Lovely characters and a very engaging plot.

This book was my first narrated by Lance Greenfield and Marisa Vitali. They both did a great job with this audio. The tone of Marisa Vitali needed a bit of getting used to but I can't really tell why. I enjoyed their performance, the different voices they used.

I'm shocked when Rafael Menendez de Aviles - my first love, my one downfall - appears at my business, offering to save it from bankruptcy. I'm even more stunned when Rafael, looking hotter than ever, makes a proposition: spend the next month together, allowing him to do anything he desires with me.

I had quite a bit of a struggle with this story. I was only able to listen to it in about 20 mins instalments particularly for the whole first half. This first half really was dragged out and about a constant and unrequited craving of the heroine without much progress either in the story or in character development. I didn't like the hero too much. Despite his less then ideal upbringing he seemed like he was a spoiled kindergartner stucked in the body of a grown-up man constantly thorwing a hissy fit because he didn't get the pony for his eight birthday, or something along these lines. I would have liked him to do a bit more groveling. There were things I liked though. I liked how they dropped their masks and defenses only for each other. That they were each other's first and lasts too in many ways.

The narrator did a pretty good job with this audio. I liked her pacing and the voices with which she impersonated the different characters. As I don't have such experience I couldn't decide if the Spanish accent was spot on or not but I did like it.

I have a secret. A secret that chased me away from my home, my family, away from the only man I've ever loved. I took that secret and pushed it down inside of me.So far down, that it never had a chance of coming out. That dirty little secret was like a seed. A seed that took root and grew to become a piece of me. But what happens when that secret has finally outgrown me? When its vines climb over every wall I have in place? When it finally overfills that little spot inside of me that it's been buried in for so long now? All secrets come out eventually.

This book was quite emotional. A lot of lies and many half truths. Blood relatives who judge and mistreat instead of giving support. Two young lovers almost ruined beyond redemption. Lifelong scars. The beauty of pure love and forgiveness. Taking a second chance at happiness.

Sarah Puckett did a good job with this narration. I liked her voice and her pacing.
I'd have liked this book even better with dual narration. My only problem was rather technical. Sometimes the timelines were hard to distinguish. Flashbacks and dreams are pretty easy to tell apart while reading but it's harder and a bit confusing in audio.

My dreams haunt me. I feel as if I am falling into a pit of impending doom, but even that has not prepared me for the roller-coaster of emotions that flood over me when I'm near Phoenix. I have to keep my distance from her. I need to. It's the only thing I can do to keep from getting hurt again. Staying away from her proves to be a much harder task than I could have ever imagined. She's not only my assistant, but she's half my age.

A very good older man-younger woman story. Phoenix was a fiesty young woman with a huge heart. She had a shining, bubbly personality that was easy to love. Nico was a thick sculled widower with a quick temper. He was so stubbornly set in his ways that a saint's patience wasn't always enough to deal with him. I liked them both together with the grat supporting characters. I loved their HEA.

Both Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross did a great job with this audio. This was the first I ever listened to a book with multiple narrators where they actually acted out all dialogues between the male/female characters. It was so flawless and was very entertainig. They also laughed, chuckled and groaned where appropriate, making the experience even better. I loved the different voices and accents both narrators used.

Barreled over was my first experience with Jenna Sutton's writing and I liked it very much.

Ava Grace was a great character. She had this loving and understanding and utterly positive personality. Her love ran deeply. She supported her family - whether they were by blood or by choice - every possible way. She was honest and had unwavering moral compass. The fame she worked hard for hadn't biased or changed her.
Beck was terrified of his own feelings, belittled what he had with Ava Grace for the sole purpose of protect himself. Even though he had his disappointments in previous relationships I still thought him a bit of a coward and hardheaded. Fortunately he realized his true feelings but not without a timely push from a good friend.
I loved their chemistry but I didn't like the heartache Beck's closed-mindedness caused.
I loved all I learned about whiskey.

I loved the narration. It was utterly enjoyable. Ava Lucas did a great job. Her voice was perfect for Ava Grace's character, matched how it was described in the book. I liked the way she impersonated the different characters with different voices/pitches and/or pace.

I enjoyed this romance very much it was great!
I liked the bits and pieces of asanas and chakras at the beginning of each chapter, it was unique and added a bit of novelty.
Both Genevieve and Trent were likeable characters. It seemed like a whole universe separated them but as it turned out they valued the same virtues in life. The secondary characters were also great.
Resisting Roots was my first book by Audrey Carlan but I'm sure it wasn't the last. The writing was good. There wasn't too much drama, the characters were absolutely believable. Entertaining plot, great chemistry and steamy bedroom (or any surface at all, really) scenes, HEA.

I gave 4 stars in my review when I first read this book. But then I listened to the audio version and I fell in love with the story, thanks to the wonderful narration by Holly Chandler and Jacob Morgan. I loved both of their voices, they impersonated Genevieve and Trent perfectly. This audiobook became my go to whenever I need pure entertainment.

And Hawk can’t ignore a challenge. However, she’s so out of his league, he can’t hope for anything more than a few chances to scratch all her itches.

What an unlikely pair!
Hawk a bar owner bada$$ biker and Kiki a well established defend attorney. Their worlds couldn't have been more different.
But as it turned out they were a lot alike. Hawk's personality was more layered then it seemed upon meeting him for the first time. Kiki was one of my favorite female characters in this series. I liked her strenght, her wit.
She reached for what she wanted and so did Hawk. Of course they had to conquer a few difficulties but neither of them shrank back from the challange.
I liked the story. It was fast paced and very well written.

Ava Lucas and Tor Thom did a very good job with this narration. It was good paced and very enjoyable.

Room for You was my first but certainly not the last read by Beth Ehemann.
I picked up this series based on a friend's recommandation and I am glad I did. I absolutely enjoyed Kacie and Brody's love story. This is the first book in their trilogy where they meet and fall in love. I loved all the main characters, the twins on top of everything.
It ends with a twist that makes you want to go on with the next book immediately, your job or anything else be damned.
Fortunately all three books are already out so no harm done.

I loved how both narrators impersonated the protagonists. The range of different voices Carly Robins used was outstanding but it isn't to say Will Damron's was lacking, not at all. Both of them was great choices to bring Kacie and Brody alive.
