All of her books are the same. It's amazing that everyone gets married 2 days after they meet. This one was pretty bad. The first 3 were ok...entertaining. This one made me laugh several times because the plot was just so stupid. The narrator was good. Going to give one more a try. Hoping this one was just a fluke. Seriously, it's really bad.

Barcelona, 1945: Just after the war, a great world city lies in shadow, nursing its wounds, and a boy named Daniel awakes on his 11th birthday to find that he can no longer remember his mother's face. To console his only child, Daniel's widowed father, an antiquarian book dealer, initiates him into the secret of the Cemetery of Forgotten Books, a library tended by Barcelona's guild of rare-book dealers as a repository for books forgotten by the world, waiting for someone who will care about them again.

I finally gave up and stopped listening. The author just cannot get to the point. The story just goes on and on. It's pretty much about a horny old man and a horny teenager. Both need to be neutered. The author did not research the dialogue. The conversations sound like present day... not the 1940s. The narrator of the story was good. If the actual book could hold my attention, it would have been a good listen. I do not recommend this book.
