I give “College Girls and Older Women” 5 smoking hot stars! This was the first time listening to Paris Rivera’s stories and I found myself blown away by the sensual romance and steamy scenes. The narration makes the story even that much better. I love the strong women and the exploration of their sexuality. I will definitely be listening to more of Paris’ stories!

He's dark and mysterious. Quiet and lethal. An Irish mobster. Pure sin wrapped up in a beautiful package. But there's also something off about him. He doesn't feel anything. He shows no emotions. Sometimes, I question his humanity. He hasn't spoken to me in two years. Not a single word. But we share a secret, he and I. And if it ever comes out, I have no doubt in my mind.... He won't have a problem killing me, too.

You probably won't like my story. Heck, I'm not sure if I even like it myself. Between getting burned at the stake and being drowned, almost twice, it's quite a lot to swallow. I'm not sure where it all went wrong. Everything was going fine my freshman year of college as a history major. I had a full-time job as a paramedic and any girl I wanted was mine. When tragedy struck our family, I found myself in France with my sister, Jules. And she just had to touch that mirror. She had to get us transported to the middle ages. 1155 A.D., to be exact. What. The. Hell.

I was wondering where the story was going as it is short (a little over 3 hours) until I realized this is just volume 1. Be prepared for a cliffhanger. :) Volume 1 is primarily focused on character building so you learn a lot about Gill in the modern day and his sister. In he last hour of the book you get to finally hear about the time travel back to 1154. The story left with a good cliffhanger and has me wanting to get volume two! Great narration and realistic characters.

Haven has developed in-depth characters that take in a life of their own in this thriller dark romance. The main heroine has experienced trauma and deals with her strong emotions the only way she knows how. A mafia man hunts her down after the heroine murders some men and there is where the twisted and dark romance is developed. This is a detailed story giving the listener a clear picture of the titillating story with twists and turns aplenty. 5-Stars for those who revel in darker themes of love and trauma.

This is a super cute story about a curvaceous lady who is placed in a fake-fiancé situation by a hunky guy. The story was detailed and I got a good sense of what he characters were thinking and feeling. There was a lot of miscommunication it misunderstanding between the two main characters which felt a little drawn out but made for lots of *feels.* I did hope for an epilogue to see into the future a bit but hope to see these characters in a backstory of the next book in the series.

Great narration, however, the characters did seem to go from less country twang to more twang in the middle of the story to less towards the end. Other than that it was good.

Just the sight of Dustin Nikoli spiked fear in my heart. The memories of the things that he had put me through in high school made me want to run in the other direction. I was the dirt on the bottom of his shoes, my only purpose someone for him to torment. No one else saw it. To his peers, he was a man's man. To all of the girls unaffected by his cruelty, a lust object. He was the hottest *sshole you could ever meet. Pretty face. Amazing body. Ugly on the inside.

Sky Corgan did a fantastic job at describing the ups and downs of college experiences as it relates to making friends, trying to have fun (and sometimes miserably failing) and finding love in all the wrong and unexpected places. Brenna, the heroine, is a typical college freshman in search connecting with high school crush and we hear of her experiences while she attempts to make friends and date while balancing other new college stressors (frat parties, chemistry exams, dorm roommates....). The story was thorough, sweet, and felt real! I loved the ending and would like to see what happens to the couple in the future! :-) Great narration Ainslie Caswell. I’d definitely listen to hear narrate any book!

Maggie doesn’t belong in this world, this seedy underbelly of the city. But there she is, my angel with her wide eyes behind her nerdy glasses. So, when she needs help, I’m the only one who can protect her. It didn’t even take a single kiss for me to fall in love with her. I know I shouldn’t - a man like me doesn’t deserve an angel. I’ll hurt her, break her...ruin her. Still, I can’t help myself. She’s going to regret this later, regret me, and probably even hate me. But I’m a selfish man, and if she wants this now, I’ll give it to her. I’ll give her everything.

Dirty Deeds felt like an instalove story with some predictable elements to it interspersed with some love, some sex, and a surprising d/s element to the H/h relationship. I felt the story felt a bit rushed in some places and could use more character internal dialogue/thought processing rather than seeing the actions play out quickly. I think this would have made the story more in-depth and not as instalove (not that that kind of story is bad, I just prefer a slower build). But overall it was a good story with some interesting characters.

Overall, narration was great! I love anything by Tracy Marks and Joe Arden.

When I met my son's best friend, the attraction was instantaneous. Jesse Morgan is charming, witty, and hot as sin. He might be young, but he's wise beyond his years. Hard as I tried, I couldn't keep my greedy hands off him, and once I had a taste, I needed more. He awakens a fire within me unlike anything I've experienced with another guy. He stirs a hot lust that makes it difficult for me to spend time with him without tearing his clothes off and giving him the pleasure he deserves. It's more than that, though. He makes me believe in something I'd given up on: love.

The BFF sequel continues along Eric and Jesse’s journey to dating and dealing with Ty, who happens to be Eric’s son and Jesse’s best friend. I can imagine this story actually taking place in real life and felt all the feels! :) The story also focus on some trauma and the author did a thorough job on explaining the process and content of therapies and various treatments out there for trauma. Bravo for the detail! And Michael Pauley’s narration is SPOT on!

I think Dreams in Deadwood, Book 1, was very sweet. Some of the plot became predictive and the main character was naive enough (as in sure was normal for the time) that it drove me a little crazy, but overall the plot and characters were good. Meghan Kelly did a fantastic job with the narration and it was fairly easy to figure out who was talking with the voice inflections.
