From Charlaine Harris, the best-selling author who created Sookie Stackhouse and her world of Bon Temps, Louisiana, comes a darker locale - populated by more strangers than friends. But then, that's how the locals prefer it. Welcome to Midnight, Texas, a town with many boarded-up windows and few full-time inhabitants, located at the crossing of Witch Light Road and Davy Road. It' s a pretty standard dried-up western town.

Strong characters and would like to hear more about those. Especially Bobo's character and how he was able to hide from evil that haunted him or followed after his grandfathers death. And the significance between Lim & Olivia. And why was Lim so interested in finding the hidden books? I gave this book a chance even though the Sookie Stackhouse series didn't end as most of us expected. She's back! Thank you!

Great Listen... I would recommend for adult only, lots of sex (graphically described) scenes. Only enhances the story. AND They bite. ;-): The soldiers were bitten by rabbit dogs or who knows what type shifter wolf, during a Navy Seal mission and left to self destruction, however the survived are now employed by a private sector of the government. Many did not make it and one is still left mad. After the dust clears, their story begins...

Alpha pack instills hope, perseverance for a better life, along with finding their mates. Albeit with their weaknesses, they embrace their skills mostly upon finding of their mates.

Along with their 200-yr old silver leader who has future sight & remains mysterious. Hopefully, we'll get his story.

After purchasing the first, I purchased one at a time and enjoyed every single minute of all.

The characters are well developed and personable.

And more interested in saving her skin than draining it. Etienne has been an Immortal Guardian for two hundred years-long enough to know that Krysta is special.

Any additional comments?

If you love JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood and Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed you will enjoy the first book of the series. These Vampires appear to be a little more heated and aggressive. There is a riveting plot that left me wanting for more, so I will be listening to the next book in the series. Most likely...them all.

Iris Scanlon, Half-Moon Hollow's only daytime vampire concierge, knows more about the undead than she'd like. Running all their daylight errands - from letting in the plumber to picking up some chilled O neg - gives her a look at the not-so-glamorous side of vampire life. Her rules are strict; relationships with vamps are strictly business, not friendship - and certainly not anything else. But then she finds her newest client, Cal, poisoned on his kitchen floor, and only Iris can help.

Once Again, Molly Harper & Amada Ronconi do it again. Together they are a powerhouse of audio books.

Iris is no stranger to vampire care; she finds Cal on the floor with multiple wounds on his incredible hard-body. She takes notice... Yummy... Cal needs to find a safe-house quickly and his only choice is the beautiful Iris. With no compassion for her new squatter, she accepts his offer so her high school sister could pay for college. Cal finds her very sexy and she comes to thirst after what he is offering.

All the favorite characters of the books past are incorporated.

Loved this book. After looking for something similar to the Black Dagger Brotherhood, Midnight Breed, or basically what I now found to be called “paranormal romance” I settled upon the Immortal Guardian Series. This book is intelligently written with a strong female character, Sarah, discovering her knight in shining armor or rather her knight in a tanned ripped body, Roland. Normally, I listen while commuting but I could not set down the iPod and go back to normal life. I went looking for medial tasks so I could listen to more. Well now the house is sparkling and I have completed one of the most breathtaking audible books.
