In the last 25 years, I have taken over many failing businesses, and each time I took it as a challenge to see if I could improve that business. I am happy to report that my success rate is around 85 percent. I take a time tested step-by-step marketing approach and make sure every step is followed and completed - some of which I have shared through my blog and podcast, but I have decided to summarize them all in this book, so they are easy to find under one roof, so to speak.

Wow! this book surprised me. I thought it was going to be less provocative, a bit mushy with a few "normal" secrets to uncover. The secrets that unraveled as the story unfolded made me cringe, but it pulled me in. it was kinda like driving by a horrific accident that you know is bad but you look anyway.

The characters are developed with a lot of depth and layers. The weak become strong, the hardened becomes vulnerable, and every character has a pivotal role.

Very well written. Smart, Sad, Gripping. Thought provoking. This is a powerful read.

Would you listen to Stories I Only Tell My Friends again? Why?

Yes, yes, yes. Hello? Because it darn good.

What did you like best about this story?

Everything. I like that Rob wasn't afaid to tell about his flaws, his expectations, etc.

Have you listened to any of Rob Lowe’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first book I've listened to performed by Rob. He did an awesome job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I didn't want to stop listening.

Any additional comments?

I am so happy that Rob Lowe narrated his own book. He gave life and personality to his stories. His impressions of people are spot on and he made me laugh. I am so impressed with Rob Lowes honesty, integrity, and his realness. I love his writing style and although I've always been a huge fan, I am more of one now. He definitely has earned respect of a different kind by writing this book.
