From Charlaine Harris, the best-selling author who created Sookie Stackhouse and her world of Bon Temps, Louisiana, comes a darker locale - populated by more strangers than friends. But then, that's how the locals prefer it. Welcome to Midnight, Texas, a town with many boarded-up windows and few full-time inhabitants, located at the crossing of Witch Light Road and Davy Road. It' s a pretty standard dried-up western town.

The reason why I purchased the book in the first place is because the series was coming on and I wanted to see if the book was Any good. I fell in love with her books because of the Southern vampire series (There was definitely no lacking for action from beginning to end in those books!) as for these books I was in The third chapter still wondering when it was going to get interesting! Honestly it disappointed me because I do really love every one of her books. Sidenote: the series that's going to on TV actually looks pretty good. So even though I was not impressed with the book series I am still going to give the TV series A shot.

I absolutely loved the movie… Tom Hanks is an amazing actor and he played Paul Edgecomb exactly like Stephen King wrote his character! But as I've said in the past, When there is a book coupled with a movie, the book is always much more interesting than the movie… Don't get me wrong, I will always love the movie, but now that I have read a book in it's entirety I am so glad that I did because there is way more action in the story than in the movie. So if you get a chance to read or even listen to it I would definitely suggest it… It is definitely worth having in your library!
