Neil Gaiman has long been inspired by ancient mythology in creating the fantastical realms of his fiction. Now he turns his attention back to the source, presenting a bravura rendition of the great northern tales. In Norse Mythology, Gaiman fashions primeval stories into a novelistic arc that begins with the genesis of the legendary nine worlds; delves into the exploits of the deities, dwarves, and giants; and culminates in Ragnarok, the twilight of the gods and the rebirth of a new time and people.

Heard good things about this book and I'm glad I picked it up (sort of speak). Neil performed this very well and you can tell his passion throughout. He picked great stories that came together and makes everything meaningful. If you like any sort of mythology this is must listen.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Very good book. Lots of twists and turns. The struggles and inner turmoils are interesting and character growth is well done. I still think The Martian is Tops but this book is still very good. Rosario Dawson was a great person to pick to perform and overall I'd definitely recommend this to those who like Andy's work.

The world of Dematr had been locked unchanging for centuries by the Great Guilds, most people living in a world of oil lamps, crossbows, and horse cavalry, the Mechanics reserving to themselves the technology for steam locomotives, rifles, and far-talkers while the Mages treated all others as if they were nothing - until Master Mechanic Mari, dragon slayer and pirate queen, and Master of Mages Alain raised the army of the new day to free their world.

Same great performance. I liked the new story. Personally I would have liked more of Marie and Alain but that's only because I really enjoyed those characters in the first series. The two new characters are really good. I enjoyed the character development. I'm interested to see what new things Jack has them do or do the same things as marie and alain just in different ways. Example: The sailing portion.

The part in the woods where the main character recuses a young woman is VERY descriptive, boarder line uncomfortable. But that's just me. I cringed during that part but the rest of great. Again that may just be me but what are ya gonna do.

Didn't know what to expect but came out with a pretty good book. Good story but I would have like more action or more peril.(That's just me though) It is good at flushing out characters background. There were some point where I forgot or got lost with the characters because there are a lot to follow but I do other things while I listen so that might be the reason. Either way I'd say 7.5/10

Started slow but REALLY picked up. I was unsure about this when I got it but it was worth the credit. If you like shows like Grimm then this is along the same lines. my only gripe is that after every story (5 or 6 chapters) It did an review about the characters. To me seems unnecessary but I got over it. Read like a TV series in that way. But other then that voice acting was good and the story is well written. I hope there are more stories in the future!

So I've listened to this twice already. I skip through and find things I forget and I use them in everyday life now. With GREAT effect! When he mentions the PDF they are just pictures. You can very much imagine them if you just think about how you would react in the situations presented. There really is no need to the PDF. It doesnt hinder the book. Worth spending a credit on if you want to think differently about how to talk to people. 5 stars

Book is definitely worth a credit if you like the subject matter. Gets a bit tedious when you get to the kids hacking part. Overall very good book. I enjoyed it a ton. I heard the other books were not as good but this one is a good listen.
