It must be something about the characters, plot, and scene that Andrews creates that makes me want to keep listening and find out what happens next. Wonderful author and another astoundingly good book. #chicklit #comfycozy #fiction #tagsgiving #sweepstakes

Tony Dungy's words and example have intrigued millions of people, particularly following his victory in Super Bowl XLI, the first for an African-American coach. How is it possible for a coach - especially a football coach - to win the respect of his players and lead them to the Super Bowl without the screaming histrionics, the profanities, the demand that the sport come before anything else? How is it possible for anyone to be successful without compromising faith and family?

I started this series because I got this book in a 2-for-1 deal. I thought it would be kind of lame because of the whole concept (like...forced). However, it was great! I love the characters and couldn't wait to get the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. books because I wanted to know what happened to Mel and Angie and Tate! Filled with all the hilarious surprises and good old-fashioned suspense that her fans have come to love, A Nun in the Closet is the story of two high-spirited nuns who accidentally stumble into a dangerous plot involving ghosts, gangsters, and Protestants.

Captain Arthur Hastings, invalided in the Great War, is recuperating as a guest of John Cavendish at Styles Court, the "country-place" of John's autocratic old aunt, Emily Inglethorpe - she of a sizeable fortune, and so recently remarried to a man 20 years her junior. While my beau, Darcy, is off on a mysterious mission, I am once again caught between my high birth and empty purse. I am therefore relieved to receive a new assignment from the queen - especially one that includes lodging. The king's youngest son, George, is to wed Princess Marina of Greece, and I shall be her companion at the supposedly haunted Kensington Palace. My duties are simple: help Marina acclimate to English life, show her the best of London, and, above all, dispel any rumors about George's libertine history.

I liked this book--I picked it up on one of the sales as a cozy-ish mystery. It was okay; I would probably not read this author again, but I did finish the book. The middle was good, but the beginning was slow, and the ending was way too fast, like the author didn't have enough pages left and had to cram everything into one chapter. #cozymystery #goodcharacters #averageplot #tagsgiving #sweepstakes
