  • You Can't Spell America Without Me

  • The Really Tremendous Inside Story of My Fantastic First Year as President Donald J. Trump (A So-Called Parody)

Until Donald Trump publishes the ultimate account of his entire four or eight or one and a half years in the White House, the definitive chronicle will be You Can't Spell America Without Me. Trump was elected because he was the most frank presidential candidate in history, a man eager to tell the unvarnished truth about others' flaws and tout his own amazing excellence. Now he levels his refreshingly compulsive, un-PC candor at his landslide election victory as well as his role as commander in chief and leader of the free world.

I love Alec. I've loved everyone of his books. This one was a waste of time. I was disappointed that about 1/2 through the he has someone Kurt narrate the book. I thought it would be funny. Nope, not at all. This book was a bad idea for me and for Alec.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

The author is your typical Scrooge. The basic premise is don't spend your money and Save, Save, Save. Though I believe in smart money management, I expected some insiders strategies about how to pull up your credit score. I thought he would have advice on how it might be better to pay off one credit verse paying down multiple cards.

Has Average Credit Score to Great Credit Score: Tips, Techniques for Better Credit turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes, until I find an author that really knows what he's talking about.

How could the performance have been better?

The performance was fine. The material was bad.

How do you instill this discipline that you hear everyone talking about? In theory it may be a lot to take in and a bit difficult to put into practice but this book serves as a guide to outline how it can be done without putting undue stress on you and the child that you are trying to discipline.

What's the secret to sales success? If you're like most business leaders, you'd say it's fundamentally about relationships - and you'd be wrong. The best salespeople don't just build relationships with customers. They challenge them. The need to understand what top-performing reps are doing that their average performing colleagues are not drove Matthew Dixon, Brent Adamson, and their colleagues at Corporate Executive Board to investigate the skills, behaviors, knowledge, and attitudes that matter most for high performance.
