Every family has a black sheep. In the infamous Casso crime family, that black sheep is me - Cannon Freeman. Except I’m not a free man. I’ve never been free. Not since the day I was born. I owe my loyalty to my father, Dominic Casso, even if he won’t publicly acknowledge me as his blood. I’ve never had a reason to go against his wishes...until I met her. Drew Carson turned my world upside when she walked into my club looking for a job. Now, my honor and my life are on the line.

The NFL’s leading quarterback is the cute boy I grew up next door to. The cocky jerk - correction, hotter-than-sin jerk - can still charm the panties off any woman he wants with just a blink of his gorgeous green eyes. He’s also my best friend’s older brother and totally off-limits. Or he’s supposed to be.

2 of my favorites, Terri E. Laine’s words and Erin Mallon narrating them!
I had not read any of the Vault stories yet and was super excited to listen to this one courtesy of Terri herself. I LOVED this story! It’s got heat and sweet and just enough background that I want more of this particular story, and their siblings!
Don’t pass this one up!

I am a bit surprised at this one....I was expecting to love it like all the others but this one actually seemed like filler. I mean we all loved and missed Murhder but it seemed almost pointless in the series, like it could have been a novella.
My love for JR Ward will always be absolute I was just expecting more.

When Pestilence comes for Sara Burn’s town, one thing is certain: everyone she knows and loves is marked for death. Unless, of course, the angelic-looking horseman is stopped, which is exactly what Sara has in mind when she shoots the unholy beast off his steed. Too bad no one told her Pestilence can’t be killed. Now the horseman, very much alive and very pissed off, has taken her prisoner, and he’s eager to make her suffer. Only, the longer she’s with him, the more uncertain she is about his true feelings towards her, and hers towards him. And now, well, Sara might still be able to save the world, but in order to do so, she'll have to sacrifice her heart in the process.

Of Blood and Bone is a beautiful addition to Nora Roberts Chronicles of the One series. Julia Whelan was a new narrator to me with the first book and I have found I really like her narration. She does a beautiful job inflicting the emotions of the characters and I hope she does the next one as well.

This book in the series was brilliant. I felt what the characters felt. I learned what the characters learned. The magics and paranormal aspects were not over done as in some books written in this genre. Nora is brilliant in this aspect and I have totally missed reading/listening to her work. I simply LOVED this book and cannot believe we have to wait another full year for more but will be waiting (im)patiently!

Bishop Scott, cocaptain. Not too shabby, huh? It’s all part of my fresh start with the NHL’s latest expansion team, and that means new teammates, a new coach, a new city, and a big new contract. But first, I decide to check out the town before the grind begins. Turns out Arizona chicks are totally smokin’, and I’m fortunate enough to meet one who’s looking for the same thing I am: a night of anonymous, unforgettable, no-strings-attached sex. Fast forward to the Vengeance arena. It’s the last place I expect to see her again - let alone in her own office.

This is another fantastic audio from a fantastic author. I am actually a relatively new reader of Shen's books and I have yet to be disappointed.
The narration was spot on, they are 2 of my favorite and I like them more the more I listen to their narration.
This story was a little on the unique side but with the usual plot twists and such. The characters were great even when I wanted to throat punch Celian.
One of the best listen and reads of 2018. Going into my favorite vault!

While not my favorite of the series, I thoroughly enjoyed Denver and Maizey’s story. I love how each book is a few years gap instead of right after each other. We get to see growth without all of the in-between, making the series super long and tiresome.

Dark is an amazing storyteller and her choice for narrator is perfection. Nicole Poole has become a favorite of mine instantly and I will be devouring more of her work.
