Right along with the "me too" movement.
Men must be oppressed it's what is good for society. If this is what the author really thinks of his gender and if so what it says about him.

"How do you know some one is vegan? ....They tell you over and over and over again..." I read the first book and was caught by the story, not necessarily the character. The main character was kinda obnoxious like an 18 year old and everything is impossible. She can't tell her boyfriend her secrets, she can't talk to her old mentors they will not understand... I really think this series could do with an abridged version. Definitely, not mature behavior for some one several hundred years old. Not a believable heroine.

Nice imaginative use of the characters. Yet completely different In every other sense. I don't like how the ending comes right in the middle of the story.

Characters I story lack depth. Story is feebly constructed with child like conflict. Not what I would expect of a 28 year old graduate student of Marine Bilology. Character acts more like a 17 year old with opisitional defiance syndrome.
