I enjoyed the first book, but the second was incredibly boring. The author should have combined Brianna’s and her cousin’s full story into one book. I didn’t like Brianna or The Earl. They both were not very flushed out as characters. She seemed like a selfish brat. That really got on my last nerve. The villain is an Italian version of the first book’s villain. With small changes. Definitely would not read again. The best part is the performance by Ms. Eyre.
