With the final chapters of this epic saga, the story continues on into the not so distant future. New characters once again evolve and old one fade away, to another mysterious chapter which has a significant and unexpected ending. Taken from start to finish, read in its entirety, it, on one hand, is the story of good vs. evil...on the other, it a true fantasy that comes full circle. Well done, worth reading. The narration was excellent. Kudos to both author and narrator.

Part four of five, the perilous journey continues as the story transfers back and forth between the past to the present, giving the reader a two-tiered image ... of the paralleling mystery and adventure in two time periods, separated by a millennium. The author pulls off the storyline and follows each with unfaltering enthusiasm. The narrator never was on top of each character, a definite feat in an epic with so many characters. Well done, the ending should be worth waiting for.

A modern day, alternative history, dystopian tale of what 'might happen' if we ignore the past. A chilling political thriller that will have the reader wondering 'what if...' The dream chapter was particularly hair-raising, brought to life by the exceptional words read by narrator Cindy Piller. Kudos and praise to both author and narrator, this is a must-hear audiobook that won't disappoint.

This is a tale of survival, a child’s bravery, and a mother’s revenge. In January 1942, concentration camps were constructed by slave labor in Poland. For the deportation of Jewish men women and children to these camps, railway transport was provided by the German national railway system. Rachel Silbermann was deported along with her family from Berlin to Auschwitz-Berkinau. Her mother, however, unlike the rest of her family who perished, escaped and joined the Polish resistance where she learned a new trade and learned it well; she became a sniper, a very successful one.

Yet another rich, heartfelt tale of a time most would choose to forget. Not only are the circumstances terrible, but for those living it, especially children, who were the innocents the whole time, had their share of horror as well. Well written, and expertly narrated, thank you Ms. Dudley and Ms. Gray.

Will the mystery of the old castle and its inhabitants be revealed, and what is in store for the brave young couple who set out to break the curse. It delves into the magic of any true fantasy. The narration was excellent, and Ms. Cartlidge portrays the characters very well. Still two more adventures in this series...bring them on!

This tragic tale concerns two Jewish women living in Hamburg in Nazi Germany before WW2, Ellen Kaempfer and Betty Holstein, and a non-Jewish woman, Elfriede Mollenhauer, who tried to help them. Ellen and Betty were to be deported by cattle train, which meant standing room only, a journey that would take days. They were to be taken from Hamburg to a work camp in Poland, a journey without food or drink, with only a bucket for a toilet.

Ms. Veleka Gray's narration is absolutely perfect, given the subject, it was, no doubt, a very hard story to tell. Thank you to both the author and narrator for a very excellent work.
