Toni’s no stranger to making mistakes. She has experienced firsthand how walking down the wrong path can send life spiraling out of control. Fortunately, she had someone to drag her from the gutter and help set her on the right track. As penance for the poor choices of her past, she pledges to suppress her baser desires and focus on finding a steady, dependable man, even if that means embracing a boring lifestyle.

Woah, now this was an awesome audiobook! It shouldn't come as a surprise how obsessed I am with the MC world. I am always anxious to get my hands on my next MC gang. I'm so excited to have listened to Hell's Handlers MC and can't wait to continue!

This story was sooo well written and the narrators did a fantastic job playing Toni and Zach. I'm always wary about some audiobooks and if they are portrayed right... They did a fantastic job! This was a great introduction into what I think is going to be a great series! I'm excited to see more of the HH MC gang and seeing who they fall for!

This definitely wasn't one of the darker MC books I read... Which was nice. I LOVE a good DARK MC book, but sometimes I like reading one that isn't so dark. But that's not to say there weren't some dark moments.. I mean, it is an MC... There are bound to be dark moments. But it wasn't the entire storyline.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book/audiobook and cannot wait to continue this series and read more of Lilly's work!

Weeks became months, and months became years. Each day nudged Kason deeper into his addiction. Each memory of the girl destroyed fed the craving for what he could never have again. Leaving a life-altering first love behind, Adaline tried moving forward to find love and trust and happiness. Pain eventually faded, wounds slowly healed, yet scars were forever left behind. But some scars feel like kisses. When the shattered pieces of their hearts are forced to meet again, the two of them must decide how much pain their love is worth enduring.

I honestly didn't see that plot twist coming. I didn't think the story would take that kind of path. I usually don't care for love triangles, but at the same time, it needs to be done well. Because if not, it'll turn me off and I don't enjoy the story as much as I wanted. Thankfully, this wasn't one of those.
Part 2 immediately starts where Part 1 leaves off. It's also been a few months since I read the first part. I still remembered alot of what happened, so I knew going in, what had happened at the end. I was actually shaking my head at the end of book 1 because I saw it coming and said "oh boy... Here we go".
Ady did drive me crazy for the majority of the book. But to keep in perspective, she was a college freshman (and before the last few chapters in part 1, a high school senior)... So it's kind of to be expected she's going to make some "not so great choices". But at times I just wanted to shake her and just say "CONFESS AND LET IT ALL OUT! YOU WILL FEEL SOOO MUCH BETTER. I PROMISE. IT WILL GET BETTER!!". Maybe not THAT dramatic, but something to that effect. ;)
I loved the audiobook- I think it was done fantastically. Both narrators NAILED emotions! I love when narrators can really make a story come to life... And that's what I think these narrators were able to do.
You have those books that yes, its an audiobook... Yeah, it's a great audio... But then you have those that really capture the emotions and feel of the story. This was one of those. I can only imagine Part 1 is similiar to this one (I just read the e-book, so I can't compare the audios for Part 1 and 2).
Overall, I love E.K. Blair's books. There's only 2 books I haven't gotten to yet (one being her newest release). But I love her writing. Definitely not for everyone as she usually has tough subjects.. And a trilogy that is VERY dark in my opinion...
Another amazing book from E.K. Blair.. I'm excited to catch up!

2017 Audible Review:
Even 2 years later I absolutely adore this book to pieces. This is one of my all time favorite books! I was excited to see this went on Audible. I'm not a rereader by nature though I always want to reread books.
Amanda, the narrator nailed Avery's story spot on. Though at times the audio got choppy and faded out, I don't rate based on something like that. I base it on their ability to play the character and deliver a story to the reader. And Amanda did just that! 5 stars; all time favorite book, though this was already established.
More people need to read these books because this series and this author do not get enough attention. I adore Tia as a person and absolutely love all 3 of her books!

Original 2015 Review:

WHAT!? WHAT JUST HAPPENED! That ending killed me. ugh. December... HURRY UP PLEASE!
I had no idea I was going to love this book as much as I did. I read this with one of my friends and we are both obsessing over this book. This is easily, for both of us, one of our favorite books so far this year!! I'm so thankful that Tia contacted me asking to review this. This book was absolutely perfect. I'm obsessed with this book. There's a certain type of guy I like and not to throw out spoilers, but Fox is one of those guys. Once you read this book, you will understand why. Guys like this make my heart burst into thousands of pieces. I can't even form coherent thoughts right now and I feel like Avery. ;) I'll have more complete thoughts when I've had time to digest this book and think a little. Easily a top 5 favorite book this year. Absolutely obsessed and DYING for december. NEED MORE!!!!!!

Something inside me fiercely craves normal. Sheltered all my life and taught to be afraid, I want to be bold, fearless. Up until now, I've kept myself and my heart safe. Tade Astor, a guy so hot he steals my breath away, jeopardizes it all. He isn't the kind of guy to give up on what he wants - me. He's determined to prove my safe world is missing something - him. Even though he may not be the cocky guy I assumed him to be.... He's definitely not the guy I should give my heart to.

I've been so excited to read this book. After listening to Chasing Butterflies a couple weeks back, I couldn't wait to dive into another one of Terri's books. Though, this touches on some dark subjects and isn't for every one. I'm a big fan of dark books so I really enjoyed this one. Overall, I adored the story to pieces. I was getting so frustrated not knowing what was going to happen and most of everything wasn't cleared up until last couple chapters. Which ended up driving me crazy. I was right about what I thought would happen, but not confirming it til the end is what drove me bonkers.
I'm so excited to read more of Terri's work!!! LOVE!

Okay, first of all, these accents are insane! I loved this story so much! I love that it was based in England. So many of the romance books I read are usually set in the States. I've been wanting to read this book since it released and was so excited to review the audiobook for the author. I'm one of those readers who likes to gush. I have a hard time writing down my feelings and explaining them So, with that said, I won't ramble on more. Just now, this was amazing! Having it as an audiobook made it 50 times better as you can listen to the characters with these accents! LOVE!

The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men's locker room. It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster. The famed quarterback decided to bare all. And by all, I don't mean he told me any of his secrets. No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel just as I asked the first question. On camera.

**4.5 stars, only issue on narration was woman who did Deliah as well as Willow. Most of the time it was hard keeping up with who was talking. It probably would have helped had Willow been someone else's voice.
