Jalen Rose has never been quiet. Not as a kid growing up in Detroit in the '70s and '80s. Not as the brash, trash-talking leader of the legendary "Fab Five" at the University of Michigan. Not as the player under the stewardship of Hall of Famers Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas, and others throughout his 13-year NBA career. And certainly not as a commentator and analyst on ABC/ESPN and Grantland.

Jalen Rose is becoming a mogul, and Got to Give the People What They Want delivers his entry into the writers' world. With a thriving podcast and several media posts covering all levels of basketball, Jalen is as equipped to write stories as he is to tell them!

As a gift for the basketball junky in your life, or a listen for yourself, this book pays off with oh-so-much savory inside detail, while keeping it classy (don't get fired!). Still, as sanitized as many accounts tend to be, Jalen ruffles the feathers of the AAU, NCAA and even the NBA, calling out individuals for their parts in the bigger, more corrupt schemes of things.

Still, he is not bitter, and each story is riveting! Also, the stories are told as teachable moments, and not to glorify greed or corruption in any way. Thus, you could give this to an 11 year old white kid, or to a 65 year old African American woman, or to literally anyone in between, and it would have an impact. Pop the trunk with Jalen and get Tao with the furious leader of the Fab Five! #jalenrose

Best-selling author and legendary conspiracy researcher Jim Marrs, who has investigated the recent financial crisis, the JFK assassination, and the national socialist takeover of America, now takes on his biggest subject: the history of mankind. Offering mind-blowing information that will radically alter the way we think about the world and our place in it, Marrs goes beyond the revelations of his classic Alien Agenda, interweaving science and authentic archaeological finds with provocative speculation to show how human civilization may have originated with nonhumans who visited earth eons ago.

It is hard to say how well researched this is, or in a tighter academic sense how one point relates to another many times over throughout this book. Yet it is always engaging and full of challenging
scenarios that will have you at least questioning - if not revolting against - the traditional world history narratives of academia and in the media.

Myths and hypotheses about Area 51 have long abounded, thanks to the intense secrecy enveloping it. Some claim it is home to aliens, underground tunnel systems, and nuclear facilities. Others believe that the lunar landing was filmed there. The prevalence of these rumors stems from the fact that no credible insider has ever divulged the truth about his time inside the base. Until now.

This book was awesome! I heard the author interviewed on Fresh Air, and thought "I have to know more." Her excellent journalism revealed so much for me to consider about America's secrets, with Area 51 as the constant throughout the entire narrative: prepare to learn more about atomic weapons than aliens, and more about stealth drones and surveillance than UFOs!
