I loved this book! Body language is generally your best indicator of what a person is thinking or feeling. This book is full of body language tips & information! Anyone who really had an interest in getting people to like you, or at least give you a chance, should listen to this!
The only thing I just really didn't like the generic voice of the narrator.

I love the no BS, direct message. I love how he breaks everything down. He starts from basics and builds his way up.

I was also impressed on how blatant he is about how the health/exercise industry is full of fake stuff just to make a buck.

The thing I didn't love? The narrator. I really like it when the authors read their books, especially those who are motivational. The narrator sounds more like a robot than a person.

Each note in this scale has specific healing properties, and this recording uses the third note, which resonates to a frequency of 528hz. This frequency works to heal broken DNA, healing on all levels - emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical - bringing relief from anxiety, fatigue, and control issues. It helps to release negative thinking.

If you could sum up Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus in three words, what would they be?

Explaining the differences between how a many and a woman think

What other book might you compare Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus to and why?

5 Love Languages.... It separates and explains the differences between your spouse and how to try to build the bridge.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of John Gray?

Yes. I RARELY dislike books that are read by the author because the book is the author's baby and they read it with emotion. Unfortunately, John Gray is very monotone. He's a genius in his own right but it didn't make for a good listen in that aspect. It took me a VERY long time to finish listening.

This book chronicles Matt's road to recovery as he teaches himself to walk again and, a mere three years later, to run in the 2008 New York City Marathon.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It is an inspirational story and nothing like I thought it would be. I thought it would be more exercise and diet based but I was pleasantly surprised with this vivid description of how will power is more important than 100 doctor estimations of recovery.

What did you like best about this story?

The narrarator was AWESOME! I have listened to many audiobooks and some were ruined not by the content but by the annoying narration.

Which character – as performed by Matthew Del Negro – was your favorite?

Matt Long

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

some parts made me laugh and some made me cry so is the rollercoaster tale of recovery after such tragedy. I think the parts where he recalls 9/11 were the most difficult
