The story was great but if I had looked at the cover before reading the summary I would have passed. I know they say don't judge a book by its cover but...
Great narration and the story had me from the beginning.

Ok so I also was a little disappointed that there would be no Liam and Gilly, BUT I have to admit Gena did not disappoint. I LOVED Puck, I loved Gilly, I loved Liam, I just loved this book. Gilly's crush on Liam was a little girls crush seen through little girls eyes. She had to come in to her own in a spectacular way and it took Puck not treating her like a child to accomplish that. There is a reason for the madness and as the story unfolds it all starts to make sense. For those of you who will rate this low without even reading it or feel "betrayed" by the author, I hope you decide to give it a chance. I don't think you'll be dissappointed.

Why isn't Whit's story done yet Sarah?!?! Perhaps because this one only released a few days ago, but still! This is what I've been waiting for, the hard working non-aristocrat anti-hero love story! Devil and Felicity are perfect and the story drew me right in with both the characters and setting. Seriously though, I'll just be sitting here waiting for the next book.

Towns like Vicki's have no distance from the Others, the dominant predators that rule most of the land and all of the water throughout the world. I had a really hard time getting through the first chapter. I love audio books but I think I will have to read this on my own. The narrator is by far one of the worst I have listened to. I'm glad I got it on sale, but I just couldn't finish it.
