Not sure why it has taken me 3 years to read or listen to this book. It's phenomenal and beautiful and Walker is perfect and Madison is perfect for him. Or doesn't start the way you'd assume...a famous singer with an assumable whoring past. But it's just not him. There is a turn to this plot that just makes the book. It makes it unimaginably sublime.

I really like this narrator. She's got this great voice that allows you to think she was made for the characters. I works one-click any book she reads.

Rule number one for a professional matchmaker? Don’t fall in love with your client. I screwed that up when I fell for my best friend, Reid Fortino. He’s gorgeous, successful, and sexy as hell. I figured it would be easy to find him a match - and save the family business at the same time. But the more time I spend attempting to find the perfect girl, the more I realize how much I want him for my own.

OML!! Amazing book. These two were sublimely perfect. Their friendship was humorous and the love they felt for each other was beautiful. It truly isn't one of those friends to lovers type of tropes that takes forever to get through. They had their own bumps in the road that made it slightly different, which made the book that much better.

I've read and listened to this book. The narration was great, but I really loved Jason Clarke. So so so good. Must read and listen.

If anyone ever said being an adult was easy, they hadn't been one long enough. Diana Casillas can admit it: she doesn't know what the hell she's doing half the time. How she's made it through the last two years of her life without killing anyone is nothing short of a miracle. Being a grown-up wasn't supposed to be so hard.

I cannot even begin to express the words I have for this book..it was long, but I read it in a matter of hours. I just couldn't put it down. I truly loved this book.

I would never have imagined Dallas being the man he truly was from the beginning of the book. He really didn't change much, he just hid his feelings well. Diana was remarkable from the get go. She loved those boys with every ounce in her, and never made anyone think they were not her children. When Dallas and Diana became friends, you could see that they were meant to be.

This book had many stages, but time didn't elapse as much as you would think. They grew together, fought for one another, and let their feelings become known in a timeless period. It was beautiful to see happen.

If it wasn't so late I would reread this book now. So worth the read.

Update: I purchased the audiobook and it's AMAZING!! I love these characters and listing to the story just makes it so much better!!

Let me go on by saying I'm an avid audbile subscriber and listen to books every single day. Every day. One thing I do love about most books are the narration and getting to respond to some of the characters because of the narrators. It makes me love the characters more in most instances. However, it wasn't the case with this one. The way the H was narrated and the best friend was narrated made it hard to listen to. Maybe it was me because I'm so picky. Not sure. However if you don't know this story maybe you will love it. I'm disappointed in myself for feeling this way.

Luna Allen has done some things she would rather no one ever know about. She also knows that, if she could go back in time, she wouldn’t change a single thing. With three sisters she loves, a job she (mostly) adores, and a family built up of friends she’s made over the years, Luna figures everything has worked out the way it was supposed to. But when one of those secrets involves the man who signs her paycheck, she can’t find it in her to regret it. Despite the fact that he’s not the friendliest man in the world. Or the most patient.

It's supposed to be fun without strings, but resisting her is so damn hard. I'm good in bed, and I know what I want. So when a curvy grad student catches my eye, I do what I do best. I take her home. I kiss her hard. I - well, a gentleman doesn't kiss and tell. I don't expect to want more. But I do. Iris is smart, sweet, and innocent as hell. I need her as often as possible. We strike up an arrangement. There are three rules. All fun. No strings. No falling in love. But then I've never been very good at following rules.

This story was pretty great actually. I'm sure it's difficult to write about this issue, not this author did a great job.

These characters were extremely likable, and that helps make the book go faster... so I sit in my car... Probably longer than I should, just to make my ride home longer, so I can listen to more of the story in a day's time. This book is definitely worth it.

What do you do when a sexy older man moves into your family’s summer rental? Well, apparently, you make a fool of yourself - over and over. Things didn’t exactly get off on the right foot with Noah Cavallari. Our first encounter was embarrassing, to say the least. But despite that, I found myself waking up every day with a newfound energy. Nothing exciting ever happened on the lake - not until Noah moved into the small boathouse on our property. When my mother became ill, I inherited the responsibility of making sure our guests were well taken care of.

This book was amazing, and beautiful with love for the ages. You have two characters that are at a point in their lives, which creates a chasm for him, with no obstacles for her. She is wise beyond her years for sure. Taking care of her mom and putting her future on hold explains a lot about this 20 year old. Seeing their relationship change over the summer, was a perfect Segway into their lives to come. This is a must read, AND the audio is PERFECT. If you can get both, I implore you to do so. I hope you love this as much as I did. Enjoy!!!

I have to start out by saying the story is so very good. The review below is based off the actual book, not the audio version. Although I love this author, I did not care for the audio. In order for me to truly love the audio version of a story I have to connect with the Narrators, and this didn't happen for me. These voices and the connection of Neely and Dane just didn't click while listening to them. I feel horrible about that because I'm not sure I've ever ever given an audio rating for this author less than a 5. Just doesn't ever happen. Note that the story is worth it. I promise... So continue on with the review for the book part

This book gives us a new look at a whole new set of characters, which is awesome. But this also gives us a new series with a new background of issues and situations to build a series out of. I like this part of a new set of characters.

This story is full of regret, sadness, soulful love, and friendship. Dane and Neely have a past that is beautiful and painful. I cannot give away the reasoning for the distance between them, but Neely leaves Tennessee and moves to New York. She and Dane have their issues and do not speak for almost ten years. You know what they say about distance.... And it certainly affected these two. The chemistry is there, so you feel it, but because of the reason for the distance, you could feel the anxiousness sometimes as well. I think that was needed in this story, because we obviously are going to see more of these two in the next books that come... And their love needs to be real.

This book is a must read... One-click right now. I can't give anything away about what happens in the story, but there is an "occurrence or situation", and this is the reason I didn't give a 5 star. But I still loved the book. Must read/listen

Hadley Jacobs is over Machlan Gibson. Sure, she’ll always be a little weak to the dimple in his right cheek and the way his five o’clock shadow makes him ruggedly handsome. But that’s not enough to cover every other thing about him because they all drive her nuts. Like how he won’t admit he’s wrong even when he knows it and how he drives his stupid car a million miles an hour on wet asphalt. As she rolls back into town and takes a seat at Crave, she won’t take the bait. She’s over him. Mostly.

I listen to every audio from this author, not only because I love her books, but because I LOVE LOVE LOVE her narrators. Kai and Wen knock it out of the park every single time! They are so believable that you truly think they are in love with each other based off how they communicate and tell the story. I love dual POV'S in audio books BECAUSE of their narrating abilities.

Hadley and Machlan have been in love with each other since high school. But their relationship is one that ebbs and flows throughout the years. Hadley is ready to move on and fall in love, but she can't do that until Machlan is in the past, and that can't happen because she's still in love with him.

Machlan is in love with Hadley and doesn't think he is good enough for her. This is not a duplicate type book as everyone else's second chance novels. NO. JUST NO. This story is finally being told, and we've known it was coming since Crank. This is a must read, must listen to book.

I voluntarily reviewed this audiobook from the author. I had already read the book months before listening. I implore you to do both !!
