Zane Phillips mistook me for his dog walker. It shouldn’t surprise me that the man with a suit more expensive than my rent would assume that I was there to serve him. The positive? I put him in his place. The negative? I missed my job interview because of it. Now I find out he’s a rich Australian entrepreneur, and he wants to make up for tanking my interview. Yes, he’s impossibly hot - but he’s also an arrogant jackass - so...no thanks. But after a little white lie I tell spirals out of control, I’m somehow offered the chance to play Zane’s girlfriend to help promote his new dating website....

It was an ok story that I found predictable (fake it till you make it). It was entertaining and sweet at times. The narration was very good with dual POV narration and both did a very good job.

Most people called it a cult. But for 20 years, Josh and Caleb called it home. In Paradise, there is no television. No fast food. Just long hours of farmwork and prayer on a dusty Wyoming ranch and nights in a crowded bunkhouse. The boys of the Compound are kept far from the sinners' world. But Joshua doesn't need temptation to sin. His whole life he's wanted his best friend, Caleb. By day they work side by side. Only when Josh closes his eyes at night can they be together the way he craves. It can never be.

This was a completely new style of story for me. I’ve never listened to a book about cults, polygamy nor an LGBT relationship. All Incan say is I loved it. Our heroes were born and raised in a cult and both struggled with their sexual preference but didn’t say anything. Josh was unfairly thrown out of the cult and Caleb ran away to find him. This is a story about true love, acceptance and defying the odds. Highly recommended for people who enjoy contemporary romance stories and want to listen to a very different story.
It wasn’t a five star listen because of the second narrator. It didn’t make sense and it didn’t add value to the story. It’s not like each narrator was doing one particular POV. The second narrator was not good, made awkward pauses and made each character sound very different. It would have been a five star listed had it been only one narrator (the one that starts the story).

Jake Weston and I met under a cloud of cliches: Boy meets girl. Boy charms girl. Boy screws girl. He was the sexiest, cockiest man I'd ever encountered, but I had no idea he was a senior pilot when we met. No idea we worked for the same airline, and he had secrets just like me.

Third book in a row I e listened to by this author and I’ve loved them all. I was not sure with this one because at some point I thought that the hero was too much of an a-hole for my listening taste but as the story unfolded you get to understand him. There were a few very unexpected turns towards the end of the story that made it super interesting. Beautiful sexy love. Recommended!! Great dual POV narration just added to this story.

My cock has an appetite. A huge and very particular appetite: blond, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar... (Although that's a story for another day.) As a high-profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online. My rules are simple: one dinner. One night. Thirty days ago, my boss, Mr. Wolf of Wall Street, came to me with an offer I couldn't refuse: Sign my name on the dotted line and pretend to be his fiancée for one month. If I agreed, he would let me out of my employment contract with a "very generous" severance package. The rules were pretty simple: No intimate kissing, no actual sex. Just pretend to love each other for the press, even though I've secretly wanted to knock that sexy smirk off his face since the first day we met.

Picture this - I’m ready to win back the love of my life, and I’m going big this time. We’re talking boom box, sing her name in the rain, let the whole damn neighborhood know I'm good and ready this time around. After all, if you're going to grand gesture the ever-loving hell out of a second chance, you need to pull out all the stops. There’s only one little problem. My college girlfriend isn't the one who shows up when I play my "I'll do anything to win you back" tune. The woman who flings open the second-floor window tells me my ex doesn’t live here anymore.

This is a story that has been written many times before. Virgin wants a pretend boyfriend to practice because she is interested in someone else. While pretending they fall in love and live happily ever after. The twist here is that the pretend boyfriend is a royal. That makes it even more unlikely and unbelievable. It was an ok story if you like predictable settings and enjoy Harlequin type ideal romances. The narration was pretty good although the male voices could have been better.
