I have two rules in life: first, no relationships, falling in love, or attachments; and second, no sleeping with clients of my interior design firm. Since the last guy turned out to be married, they’ve been easy to follow, until Callum Huxley, a ridiculously sexy Brit. The connection we have the moment our eyes lock scares the ever-loving hell out of me. Thank God, I came to my senses before going back to his hotel where I would’ve ended up naked, panting, and unable to forget him.

5 Crazy Ass Must Read/Listen Stars!!!!!

This book! Oh, this book. And Corinne Michaels. And Callum. And Nicole. And just everything.

I loved, loved the narration of this story. Gary Furlong and his accent! Andi Arndt was amazing as ever.

I was swooning right along side Nicole when Callum was introduced. "Talk dirty British to me and I'll shut up," was the best line ever!!! I'm right there with you, Nicole. Right there with you.

I loved catching up with Heather and Kristen from We Own Tonight and One Last Time. And Danielle, too. Their friendship and the way they are together really is what friendship is all about.

There was just the right amount of drama to keep things interesting. I have to say that I was even stunned with that little twist. I felt duped. And then the other thing happened and my heart just shattered.

I'm excited for If I Only Knew. I peaked at the blurb to confirm who it was about and got an even bigger surprise. So, now I'm anxious to get my hands on it.

My story starts with a plunge into the cold water of Manhattan's harbor. A strong hand hauls me back onto the deck of the luxury yacht. Christopher was supposed to be my enemy. Instead he protects me with fierce determination. That should have been my happily ever after, but then Sutton appeared - ruthless and seductive. He doesn't care that my heart belongs to someone else, because he's determined to win. No matter the cost.

Ahhh. I'm going crazy here for many reasons. First and foremost, did I miss a book Tanglewood book of Skye's somewhere. I don't remember Blue. I have some major stalking and investigating to do. I'm appalled at myself that I've let one slip through my bookwhore sight. And I call myself a book whore. *hangs head in shame* So if any of you out there read this and know of the book, let me know. I need to restore my bookwhore pride in myself here.
Now the second thing...I was so torn throughout the rest of the book after Sutton was introduced. Who should Harper end up with?
And then...that ending! UGH! Craziness. Absolute craziness. I need the next book and thank the kindle gods that the ARC is sitting on my virtual bookshelf just waiting to be devoured. Work, laundry, chores be damned because this book whore will be all kinds of tied up with The Evolution of Man.
Erin Mallon did a phenomenal job with the telling of this story. The characters became so real and the story came to life.

Gah! The one thing I absolutely love are accents. Who knew Jeremy York could sound like that?! I sure didn't. His narration really surprised me. He has been a favorite of mine for a while so when he started popping out with the British and Scottish accents, I was a goner. Total swoon at anything he said. And Claire's accented voices were nothing to scoff at. She was amazing as well.
Both narrators made this book very entertaining and enjoyable. I'm not quite sure I would have enjoyed the book as much if I had just read it and I'm glad I didn't because I felt the narration made it possible to get into the story more.

A total win for Kindle Unlimited with narration!

I'm on a mission to find myself a nice, solid, respectable man. The only problem is nice, solid, and respectable comes in a meh package and is B-O-R-I-N-G as hell. It's been established. I have one type. Bad Boy. I tried the other flavors, I really did. But there's nothing like the allure of a man who takes what he wants without apology. As if my love life isn't dramatic enough, Dean Bennett walks into my life again thinking he's going to win me back with his charm and charisma. He might come in a different package, but under that expensive suit he's still the same cocky, arrogant, pompous prick who only cares about numero uno. I'm not that naïve young girl anymore so I have to ignore the fact that the way he looks at me practically sets my panties on fire.

Piper Rayne, the incredibly hilarious duo, has struck again. Afternoon Delight was funny, sexy, and had me swooning throughout. I was immediately intrigued especially after the bomb that was dropped at the end of Manic Monday. I just couldn't wait to get my hands on this book.
I love the dynamic that Chelsea and Dean brought to this series. I was already in love with their overall trope of divorcees with this series. What I didn't expect was the second chance romance of exes. In my vast index of read books, I've never come across one of this nature. And if I have, it obviously didn't stick with me the way this one has. Honestly, I wasn't sure how this would play out but P & R had me entertained right from the start. Now, I can't wait to see how Hannah and "the silver fox" situation plays out.

We met in the least likely of places. It started out innocently enough. I was “ScreenGod”, and she was “Montana”, but of course those weren’t our actual names, just the virtual cloaks we hid behind. Logging in at night and talking to her was my escape - my sanctuary. Her real name was Eden, I’d soon come to find out. From the first time we connected online, I found myself transfixed. She was an addiction. At first, we knew nothing about each other’s real identities...and she was adamant that we keep things that way.

4 Crazy Ass Stars!!!!!

Penelope Ward is an automatic read for me. I don't need to know what the blurb says cuz I know I'm gonna love it. Love Online was no exception. While it may not be favorite PW book, it still had me laughing, swooning, and even shedding a few tears. The storyline was unique and I can honestly say that in my bookwhore tenure, I have not come across anything like it.

The characters were great. In the beginning, I wasn't thrilled with Ryder. He just fell flat. Then as the story progressed, he started to grow on me. And by the end, I was swooning all kinds of crazy. Eden was another one I wasn't too sure about. The mystery that surrounds her was a little on the predictable side. I didn't have the whole situation panned out right but I was on the right track. However as her story came out, I admired her. Would I do what she does? No, but it was her track and she owned up to it.

I loved Ryder's interactions with Ollie. There was major swooning involved there. And some major laughter too. OMG, the "bleeding" scene just about had me crying down my leg I was laughing so hard.

Overall, it was an adorably sweet story that had me entertained for a few hours.

Audible Update:

So I saw that the audiobook was available on audible and being the bookwhore that I am, I snatched that up too. You can't fault me. It's SebYo and Andi Arndt! Their dual narrations are an addiction of mine but I'm not complaining.
Having just finished reading the book then listening to it again the same day was a great thing. Sebastian and Andi made it a better experience for me. I felt like I connected with Ryder and Eden better. And even though I knew what was going to happen, I felt more into the story with their narration.

Just a little warning: I will be sounding like a broken record if you have read my review of Surrender.

Will Watt, Piper Goodeve, and Charlotte Cole slayed the narration. I don't know (I probably should know though) if Amy Daws or someone else is responsible for casting these narrators. Whoever did did an amazing job handpicking one hell of a cast. Will Watt and his accent are just to die for. I love his voice and could just listen to it all day. Piper and Charlotte were amazing as well. I loved how all three brought the story to life for me. And even though I read this book back in July and knew what to expect, I found myself connecting with all the characters even more so than before.

This was a narration done right!

Review from previous read:
5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

OMG! Amy Daws just blew me away with this book and ending to the duet/series. This was a rollercoaster ride of the best kind. I laughed, cried, swooned, cried some more, laughed some more, cried again, got a little frustrated, got mad, and then, was left with my heart happy and full.
This is such a bittersweet ending. I'm so sad the series is over but Amy Daws saved the best for last with Gareth's story. It was heart-wrenching, heart-warming, and full of swoons and laughter.
Since Vi's story in That One Moment, I have had this insatiable curiosity over the Harris Brothers, mainly Gareth. As the Harris Brothers series rolled out, I thought his would be the first being as he is the oldest brother. Amy Daws knew what she was doing though and left him for last. I couldn't have planned it more perfectly if I tried. Gareth's story rounded out the series perfectly and was positioned in the series where it needed to be to make this one of the best series I have ever read.
Amy Daws is a life-long favorite of mine and I cannot wait to see what adventure she takes us on next.

OMG! OMG! OMG! What the frack just happened?!?!?! I need Dominate right fracking now!

This was so not what I expected. Amy Daws threw me for quite the loop. I loved it and it absolutely made the story so much more. Ms. Daws totally slayed Gareth's story.

I knew that Gareth's story was going to be serious but I didn't expect the roller coaster ride of emotions I experienced. I laughed at all the Harris' antics. I cried at the heart-wrenching moments. I swooned at Gareth's sweet side. And when those intense sexy scenes popped up, I was fanning myself like crazy.

Another amazing story and I cannot wait to get my hands on Dominate.

Audible Review Update:
5 Crazy Ass Must Listen Stars!!!!!

I would give this narration 10 Crazy Ass Stars if that option was available. Will Watt, Piper Goodeve, and Charlotte Cole were phenomenal! As evident from my previous review, I loved Gareth's story. But listening to it gave the story a life of it's own. The characters were more real. Gosh, I even connected with Sloan better this time around. (I don't want to leave a spoiler but it's kind of unavoidable. I'll be as vague as can be so I don't give away too much if you want to click the spoiler link.) (view spoiler)
Ok, spoiler over.
I've read and listened to the entire Harris Brother series (or so I thought, more on that in a bit). Will Watt and Charlotte Cole did a great job with each book. Adding Piper Goodeve to the mix was great. She really nailed Sloan's character.
I cannot wait to listen to Dominate next (well, after I take care of the issue below).
After going through Amy Daws list of books to make sure I have read everything she's ever put out, I discovered - much to my horror - that I missed a Harris Brother book. I missed End Goal. In the words of my oldest daughter when she was three, "Oh man, how dat happen?" SMH! Seriously, I'm ashamed of myself. My bookwhore ways are slipping and I'm slacking on my Crazy Ass Stalking. Well, I snatched up the audiobook so I can rectify that problemo to-day!

I loved this book already having just read it a few days ago but the dual narration of Joe Arden and Erin Mallon just brought it to a new level. I still cried, swooned and laughed only I did it a little harder than before. Joe and Erin brought all of the characters to life and made the story more real for me. It didn't matter that I already knew what was going to happen. I just got lost in the story that Joe and Erin told. They gave it more heart and the feels were felt that much more.

Below is my original review after reading:

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!

I went into this blind so I didn't really know what to expect. I just know I didn't expect this story. Everything I've read by Lauren Blakely has been a rom-com of sorts so I was expecting this to be along those lines. Despite my expectations, this book was amazing in and of itself. I loved the versatility Lauren Blakely has shown me here and that has just entrenched her more on my faves list.

This book was all heart. Heart-wrenching, heart-breaking, heart-warming, and heart-healing. I cried, swooned, and there were even times that I laughed.

Lauren Blakely did an amazingly, fantastic job with this book. I so look forward to reading what she comes out with next.

Every debate and stolen moment is foreplay for us. She claims she hates me, but her body tells a different story. I plan to win this election, but I also want to win the sharp, fiery Democrat who captures my attention like no woman ever has. 5 Crazy Ass Must Read/Listen Stars!!!!!

What do you get when you have two political advisories with a connection so intense? You get "dirty". I wasn't too sure about reading this at first. I'm not into political romances being as I'm not a very political person. But, Chelle Bliss had a hand in writing this and I have been following her (and loving her) work for the last couple years. So I jumped right in and let me tell you, I was hooked right from the start.
This book was so much more than I expected. It was funny. It was hot. There were some tears. There were also a few kindle shaking times when I was pretending it was one of the characters. There were even a few twists that had me surprised and stunned. It was just very unexpected all around.
Reagan and Jude both had me so torn. I love their characters and wanted both to win. Brenda and Chelle did an amazing job collaborating on this and I do hope that there will be more to their story.

SebYo and Kirsten Leigh totally nailed this narration.
