I didn't realize how Sophie Eastlake's voice soothed me. I started out worried about new people and a new place, but it was wonderful. can't wait for the next one.

I love listening to series. The only thing that makes it trying is narrators changing or even staying the same when they should change. By this book it was clear, Aasne Vigesaa is Elena and even the best Clay. Nell Canning is Aunt Ruth, and Laural Merlington is Paige Winterbourne. She just sounds too "wholesome" to give me the feeling I get from Elena.

Other than that, the story is excellent. Love the wolves!!

When I first came across this series, I looked at the cover and thought "2012 Harlequin". The description was just enough to make me take the chance and I'm glad I did. My only complaint: With all the beauty she describes of people with genetic backgrounds from all over the world, the covers look like updated Harlequin novels with the only indication that they're meant to be the main characters being hair color and tattoos. *Shrug*

Since this was my first Psy-Changeling novel of any kind, it was a learning experience and really a good read. Sascha and Lucas' interactions are priceless from beginning to end. The plot weaving around them had me totally looking forward to book number 2.

While "Slave to Sensation" will always be my favorite, this one come in a close second and probably the best in Psy-Changeling relations. Ashaya was the first one who seemed strong enough and ready for what was happening with Dorian.

I am totally loving how each new character is weaved into the lives and drama of DarkRiver and SnowDancer packs.

This being the 8th installation of the Psy-Changeling series, I thought I'd gotten a handle on what "But he/she was Psy" meant. This time I was totally lost. This time, the actual drama around the love story was more interesting than the love story. They went from strangers to 60 in no time flat. They totally skipped into the realm of love and possession and the "Psy" issues they had to work around never realy connected. I actually found myself looking forward to other characters coming into play because I just couldn't get into the two of them.

Having said that, I believe they will be very useful in the next books. I'm sure their skills wil be very interesting put to use to help the others. Perhaps, we'll learn more about Max's father and get a better understanding of him.

What happened with the step-mother's voice this time around? Her nasaly midwestern whine made her-her! I love this series. I highly recommend listening from the start.

This story was a bit harder to get into because the time travel thing is such a slippery slope. I admit to being terribly let down by the ending. I guess after loving the books before, like everyone else, I'd come to look for the happy ending. It left me pondering for a long time after I finished it. I suppose in vampire-world, this direction was inevitable. I'll wait a bit before reading the next one.

While I could have gone "sitcom" longer with the "Betsy hates Sinc-lair" storyline, I am totally enjoying this series. FUNNY!!

I wanted funny. I wanted vampires. I got it. I'm always fascinated by the various takes on vampires and this one is too cute. I was immediately hooked. I haven't heard the radio in my car since I bought this one. I'm excited to hear the rest but afraid to finish them too soon.
