Tana French is a master wordsmith. Her prose is lilting and conjures up viscerally felt associations that are often in direct contrast to a bleak story line and her realistically fallible characters.

Disappointing!

Not up to standard. Repetitive and lacking in suspense. Narrator's monotonous and singsong presentation distracting.

I found it almost impossible to finish. The plot is non-existent, the characters are cardboard cut-outs and Doyle is a simpering, self obsessed lame brain. A poorly conceived light weight teen romance. A waste of a cherished credit.
