The story line is OK. There is a good base for a great story but the heroine kept annoying me. I only lasted 8 chapters before I had to stop and that was with forcing myself to keep listening. The female characters were whiny and aggravating, they were also repetitive in thought.

I can see that with work the story could be great but I just couldn't bring myself to finish it. Sorry

The only permanent thing in my life is the ink I put on my clients. I drift from city to city, in and out of beds, from one tattoo shop to the next. Every time I start to put down roots, I rip them up. Until New Orleans. Until her. She's everything I'm not. Full of fire and life. An innocent where I'm a sinner. I want to consume her. Protect her. Keep her. But first I have to escape from beneath these shadows.

I want more *(insert crying emoji)*
Meghan March is a very talented writer and I love her books. The beneath series is amazing and Bishop and Eden's story is a fantastic addition.
The chemistry is off the charts and hot as fudge.
Eden fits with the other girls really well and is a fantastic heroine. She has definitely made my top 5 female characters.
The only problem I have is it finished.

Well done Ms March xxx

They say when you assume, you make an ass out of you and me. Kenton Mayson learned this lesson firsthand when he made assumptions about Autumn Freeman and the kind of woman she was based on what little information he had. What he finds out is that she's not only beautiful but also smart, funny, a fighter, and exactly the kind of woman he wants to share his life with. Autumn made assumptions of her own about Kenton, and now he needs to prove her wrong in order to protect her and their future.
