This is an awesome new book series by MSE. This is an interesting story on the falling through a worm hole to a new world and beginning to build your empire #monsters.

I love this narrator because you can tell when it is a different character and it seems like he is really enjoying the book too. #tagsgiving #sweepstakes

This is a very enjoyable RPG story. The MC is a dangerous guy that has left the life of fighting, but he is pulled into a dangerous game world to help his sister. It is nice to see a MC in a RPG book that doesn't really have a history of playing video games, but he learns how game mechanics work while trying to stay alive so that he can find his sister. I look forward to seeing how this series develops.

The narrator does a good job with the different characters, reading pace is excellent, and is very easy to listen to.

In a world full of super powers, Felix has a pretty crappy one. He has the ability to modify any item he owns. To upgrade anything. Sounds great on paper. Almost like a video game. Except that the amount of power it takes to actually change, modify, or upgrade anything worthwhile is beyond his abilities. With that in mind, Felix settled into a normal life. A normal job. His entire world changes when the city he lives in is taken over by a super villain. Becoming a country of one city. A city state.

After 9/11, the United States made one of the most secretive and dangerous deals in its history. The evidence against the powerful Saudis who coordinated the attack would be buried. In return, King Faisal would promise to keep the oil flowing and deal with the conspirators in his midst. When the king's own nephew is discovered funding ISIS, the president suspects that the Saudis never intended to live up to their agreement.

I loved the book and Kyle Mills has done a wonderful job in taking over writing the Mitch Rapp series. However, I don't understand why this book wasn't narrated by George Guidall. Scott Brick is a wonderful narrator and i love many of the books he narrates, but George's ability to capture the essence of these characters is unsurpassed. Please let George narrate any future books.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I have many audible books in my library, but this was one of the toughest ones that I have listed to. The story was good, but this narrator was tough to listen to. Everyone character sounds similar, and the emphasis on the words at crucial moments was perplexing.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Plot was good, but became predictable.

Would you be willing to try another one of Peter Berkrot’s performances?

No.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No.
