As I said in the heading, this wrap up of the series is another Great story by the Master.
To any new readers thinking of starting his amazing series, I say be careful, they are addicting.
To Mr. Tufo, I started listening to your amazing works quite a while ago. And I have to say, you’ve never let me down.
I love the way you can through out some of the most ludicrous statements out of your characters just at the perfect moments.
I’m not a man that is prone to laugh ( ya I know, sad right) but in every book you’ve given us, I find myself laughing out loud as I listen. I’m sure some of the guys I served with and now in the civilian word work with think I’m batshit crazy, they are probably right anyway.
Ah, who cares anyway right.😜
Thanks again Mark.
Now get back to work and bring me another one.

I don’t normally write a review, but this novel brought back many memories of my time in the service of our great country.
I was proud to serve alongside my Brothers in the 75th Ranger Battalion, 3rd Division from 1984 to 1992.
Although some of the story must be slightly on the side of fiction to make it more entertaining, it was the Brotherhood displayed in this story that truly touched my leathery heart.
Thank you for this story, I look forward to the next installment.

Joshua Anderson, a logger by trade and small business owner, is not the typical American citizen. When the government threatens his family and attempts to steal his assets, Joshua is forced into hiding. The government thought that Joshua would be an easy mark. They thought that they could easily find him, arrest him, and bury him, so no one would ever know what they are doing. They thought that no one would ever support a "criminal". They thought wrong.

I don’t normally write a review, but I truly enjoyed this story.
It touched on just how far our country has drifted from the founding fathers hopes for America.
The only thing that really worries me is that I have no doubt that there are people working in our government that would see nothing wrong with what the government was portrayed doing in this book and would see Joshua as a criminal.
Please pray for our county, and let’s hope that God decides to restore her back to what our founding fathers wanted for her.
Thank you for one great story.

I've really enjoyed this series, but this new narrator is horrible!
I find myself having to force down revulsion at how he try's,and fails badly at changing his tone of voice to represent different people in the story.
He even mixes up the tones between characters, so you wonder who is talking, and why did that character say that.
Like I said earlier, great story, Horrible Narrator!

This story is all to familiar to today's America. I can't say for sure that the current government will fall as bad as the one in this book, but it sure seems like they are trying too.
The references to scripture was refreshing and eye opening.
As well were the excellent quotes from the founding fathers of our nation.

I have been a fan of J.L. Bourne for some time now. His first two books of Day by Day Armageddon are still two of my favorite books.
I was disappointed with Shattered hour Glass, do I have to admit I was a little hesitant to preorder this book. I am very glad I did! Mr. Bourne has proved himself to be the amazing author I believed he was. With his knowledge of Military and governmental ineptitude he wrights a story that is all to real. I wish it was not so, but I see a all to clear future written in this novel that could very easily become headline story's for our country in the very near future.
Thank you Mr. Bourne for a amazing story that was not only very entertaining, but thought provoking as well.

I have really enjoyed this series.
It is packed full of practical survival knowledge, but it is presented as it is applied so it doesn't feel like you are reading a survival manual.
This most resent book was a total roller coaster ride of action and heart ache.
I found myself wishing that Zac would wake up from a fevered nightmare ( and at the risk of a spoiler alert ) not lost all he had lost. The author however is a realist and dose not pull punches.
I do however have to say that in retrospect, this is what life would be like if the world fell apart. So I complement David Achord for not sugar coating it.
I'm looking forward to the next book.
If you are on the fence about this series as I was at first. I can tell you it is well worth your time.
