In this recent Off-Broadway hit, a group of old friends find themselves at Harlem's Ortiz Funeral Home to mourn the death of a beloved nun from their childhood. As they bounce off of each other with old hurts and the harsh realities of grown-up life, a murder mystery (and a few lives) begins to unravel. Hilarious, raunchy, and ultimately very touching, Stephen Adly Guirgis is a new voice to be celebrated.

[Contains explicit content] Get ready for a completely improvised and unscripted Audible Original that invites you to listen in on the funniest phone calls from the world’s weirdest town. “Welcome to South Grampers! Stuck on hold trying to cancel your cable service? Lonely and needed to talk to a friend? (Even if they’re a cat?) Bad Reception is an entirely improvised comedy, set entirely on the phone.

London is emerging from the shadow of the Second World War, and writer Juliet Ashton is looking for her next book subject. Who could imagine that she would find it in a letter from a man she's never met, a native of the island of Guernsey, who has come across her name written inside a book by Charles Lamb.... As Juliet and her new correspondent exchange letters, Juliet is drawn into the world of this man and his friends – and what a wonderfully eccentric world it is.

It was a typical evening at a mall outside Portland, Maine. Three teenage friends waited for the movie to start. A boy flirted with the girl selling sunglasses. Then the shooters arrived. The chaos and carnage lasted only eight minutes before the killers were taken down. But one person wasn't satisfied with the shockingly high death toll at the DownEast Mall. And as the survivors slowly heal, find shelter, and rebuild, they will discover that another conspirator is lying in wait - and this time, there might be nowhere safe to hide.

After 8 years I am forced to write a review, this body is pure Christian left behing literature, which should have been clear from the beginning. Like another reviewer I had to listen to it twice because I missed something also. This book maligns the Islamic faith, Jesus appears out of the blue, suddenly Muslims are denouncing their faith and becoming Bible quoting followers of Jesus. I am a Christian but this book offended me. And yes it end abruptly!!! I will never read this author again.
