Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. I love Harry Potter...I've read the books, seen the movies at the theater and on tv too many times to count and will still watch a Harry Potter Weekend but I just could not get into the audio. I think it was the lack of music and sound effects, the narrator did a good job but theater and tv are just too good to beat!

Eccentric, reclusive Walter Rennert lies cold at the bottom of his stairs. At first glance the scene looks straightforward: a once-respected psychology professor done in by booze and a bad heart. But his daughter, Tatiana, insists that her father has been murdered, and she persuades Clay Edison to take a closer look at the grim facts of Rennert's life. What emerges is a history of scandal and violence and an experiment gone horribly wrong that ended in the brutal murder of a coed.

It's been appx. a month or so since I finished this listen and I had to read the synopsis to remember what it was about. This was a first listen of this author and will be the last. There was really just no story there to grab onto and my attention was easily grabbed by minimal things going on around me.
