The China Study offers conclusive evidence that a change of diet can dramatically reduce the risks of heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. The book is based on the most comprehensive study of nutrition ever conducted, a 20-year joint project between Cornell University, Oxford University, and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine. The study surveyed the eating habits of 6,500 adults from all over China and Taiwan and found a direct correlation between diet and disease.

If you are ready to live with vitality, energy and good health this book seems to have the answers. Plant based food, no oils or animal products. Very simple and straightforward to understand why and how to follow this lifestyle . However a bit more challenging to implement practically. Though the author made a point that summarizes this challenge. It's that it is harder to have to go through open heart surgery or worse yet lose a loved one or be the one that loved ones lose.... than it it is to change what u eat.

I got more out of this book than all the years of counselling I've had and countless books I've read. I've read reviews about a book being life changing. This is the first time I've ever felt that this book alone could help cure your depression permanently!! I've listened to this book twice in just a month. Very straight forward steps to take and able to go as quickly or slowly as you are able to go.

There is not one negative about this book.

In just a couple of weeks since I first read this book I've started taking the supplements, more aware of ruminating(harder habit to break but have greatly reduced amount), improving my eating/sleeping habits and planning to get back into working out and socializing more. I'm following most of his recommendations and I'm already noticing improvements. I'm hopeful and excited of how much better I will be and feel once I get all of them implemented !

If you suffer from depression, feeling down or just can't get yourself into gear this book is truly a game changer.

I have already recommended this book. Definitely worth the credit.

Thank you Mr IIardi you have helped me get myself up and living life again!!

Any additional comments?

I have had digestion issues for the past 5 yeas, bloating, fatigue, brain fog, stomach pain, joint soreness and overall feeling unwell. After countless medical tests, even biopsied to find out if I was celiac ... doctor concluded I must be gluten sensitive. I went completely gluten, corn, diary free and though my symptoms weren't as severe, they were still there. To say I was frustrated, would be a huge understatement. Nothing seemed to help.

Even before I finished reading this book I started a total grain free diet, dairy, sugar , ect... way of eating ,... and after about 5 days every symptom disappeared! It is mind blowing how simply changing the way I ate had such a dramatic impact. I guess I had been feeling so sick for so long that I had forgotten what it truly felt like to have energy and feel well.

I am about a month and half into this new lifestyle change and I can't imagine every introducing those items back into my diet. I had some rice with a meal and then followed by cake 3 weeks into this new way of eating, and the resulting ill feeling was an eye opener and reminded me of how I'd felt like for years.

Thank you to the authors for putting together such an amazing book, in a very simple to follow way. I have read countless books on nutrition and diet, this by far is the best one! Total life changer for me!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

There is so much information, that I am definitely going to listen to again!! Have already recommended this book to my husband and friends. So much of the information made sense for ailments that seem unrelated to the gut health. But once explained seems incredible that the link hasn't been made sooner!! Can't say enough good about this book.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

For starters everyone in the book keeps referring to the "actual book", and how that has impacted their lives. Well the actual story is never told!! I am definitely interested in getting the book who moved my cheese, but this was a total waste of money!

Any additional comments?

Why sell a book that has the title "who move my cheese", call it unabridged, and then spend the whole book referring to this life changing story, but then never actually tell the story??? Not sure what I'm missing but it was very frustrating!

There just isn't enough time for everything on our to-do list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure those get done. They eat their frogs. There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're done with the worst thing you'll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.
