Housekeeper for a stunningly handsome, male-model billionaire? Yep, that’s my job and it’s as dreamy as it sounds. I get to live in his ridiculously huge mansion, and all I have to do is take care of his mom and daughter, who are practically family. To top it off, the notoriously bossy Mr. King has been away for business since I started. But he came home today. Liam King looks like he stepped out of a GQ magazine, and the way he undresses me with his eyes should be illegal. He ignites my body. Every part of it. But It doesn’t matter how tempting he is. I can’t have him.

I love a good romance book and I know that things are exaggerated and far fetched at times. That’s the fun really but this was too much! A simple custody trial would not have jury and such an elaborate hearing. Like come on!

Also! The child does not have to be present the whole time during a hearing. In fact they’re usually never there unless it pertains to something specific. Even when they are required they’re asked to leave at the tough parts.

On top of that the ex boyfriend did sooo much and even admitted to it but no one reported it once!?! Don’t get me started on the police. They accused her of lying and refused to believe her. Really?!?

There’s so much more but I can’t relive it again. I’d still recommend this but you gotta be a die hard romance fan

New year. New place. New me. Right? Wrong. And all because of Shay Coleman. Football captain and quarterback, he was the big guy on campus. The cocky guy in my political science class with a smirk. I hated him on sight...and he was about to break all my rules.

Overall this was a good read (listen) but I was angered by the ending of the book. The beginning started very slow for me and it took me awhile to really get into the plot and the story really dragged on! It just kept going and going into the smallest insignificant details. Fast forward 10 hours and the story just ends. No warning no explanations it just ended. I’m still looking to see if I missed something and there’s a part 2 to this somewhere. I feel so cheated. This is the literally definition of anticlimactic! I’m mad I waited 10 hours for nothing

The story and overall writing is blah but I didn’t expect much. The real issue here is the female character. I’ve read hundreds of books and never have a disliked a character like I did this book. She was such a snooty person. Her attitude and her belief that she was so much better then everyone made me dislike this book. Just horrible! At the end when she’s reading his letter she’s mad that he didn’t put more effort in the stationary. Really?!?! 😒 Just so snobby!

I loved her like a sister forever ago. Before life served us tragedy with a bitter cherry on top. Before I learned love isn't a damn fairy tale. Before I became a single dad. Protecting my little girl is all I still care about. Kendra is my lifeline if she'll just play along. Her job is easy. Wear my ring. Turn my scowl into a family man's smile. Help save my daughter from a scorched earth custody fight. She gets the Cinderella treatment in return. My money, my mansion, my reputation. Simple. Painless. Mutual.

The story line was ok not the greatest thing I’ve read. Definitely had a lot of head shaking moments and the female character really started bothering me at the end. But I’m easy to please so I looked pass all of that but the narration was HORRIBLE! Omg! The male characters “female” voices were a little creepy, especially the daughter. More distracting then anything. And he read so dramatically. He seriously over did it. Not everything was so dramatic lol. The female was soooooo dry and boring. She read like she was reading a menu. Maybe not even that because I show way more excitement for food then she did this story. It was just sooo bad. Everytime it was her turn I dreaded it. I will be sure to write her name down to ensure that I don’t get stuck with a story of hers again. Overall not a bad book but I’d stick to the kindle version.

They say love and hate are the same feelings experienced under different circumstances, and it's true. The man who comes to me in my dreams also haunts me in my nightmares. He is a brilliant lawyer. A skilled criminal. A beautiful liar. A bully and a savior, a monster and a lover. Ten years ago, he made me run away from the small town where we lived. Now, he came for me in New York, and he isn't leaving until he takes me with him.

My life is as good as it bloody gets. I may be an Englishman, but I'm living the American dream. In Vegas I f - k who I want, when I want, and how I want. Unfortunately, my father needs to pass on the family business and doesn't think sleeping around gives me the credentials I need. I've got one week to convince him and the rest of my old-school English family that I've changed my wild ways and settled down with a "proper" girl. The problem? Claire's hiding something.

This has to be my 2nd or 3rd time EVER writing a review but I must get this off my chest. The book was decent, very decent really. I am a romance novel lover so very easy to please but the female heroine was too much for me. OMG I have read some pretty dramatic and screw up characters before but I just couldn't with her. She was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dramatic and such a liar. It's one thing to omit things from your friends sometimes, I get that but omg. She just would not stop lying, even when it really was no longer necessary. It took so much for me to finish this book. Every time she opened her mouth my eyes just rolled. Rant aside this although the first book was SO MUCH better this was not a bad read. Honestly my favorite part was the narration. The 2 narrators really brought the book to life and made the heroine more bearable (barely)

Not the worst I've ever read but it wasn't that good. It was very long when I think it could've been better if it was slightly shorter. It dragged on and there were many pointless details that didn't help the story. Also the love scenes were basically nonexistent especially for a book that long.

The worse part of this was the narrating. Her voice did not fit the character at all. It was so much older then what was told. I didn't NOT like the narrator and she did a horrible male voice. There were times in the book where there was "conversation" and I couldn't tell who was talking. The sister, Andy or the male character. Everything sounded the same. Honestly I would've given this 4 stars if the narration wasn't so horrible.

I've never left a review before but this book wasn't that good to me. I am a traditional romance lover so I love all the sappy and cheesy moment but the story wasn't written well. It didn't really flow and I couldn't get into it. There was so much focus on other things outside of the actual relationship. It really didn't do it for me. The narration really didn't help the story. I liked that their was duel POV but it was read by one person. I hate when a female voice tries to play both a man and female. It sounds so weird and I think that's partly why I couldn't get into it. Not worth the credit for me.
