Sullivan and Will are as close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on each other, and they've become accustomed to sharing everything - including women. Now they're ready for more. To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they've shared since childhood come true. Apparently I tick off every box on their list - brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in their places - which they find sexy as hell. One problem, I'm a traditional girl, with traditional values - one man, one woman, till death do us part - kind of values.

This was an okay story. I enjoyed it for the most part, but I'm a reader of ménage romance and this was more on the light side for me. Nothing wrong with that, I do believe this is one of those stories to reach a broader audience. I listened to this on Audible's Romance Package. Liked the narration and Jacob Morgan is a favorite of mine so it was a win. The sex is glossed over and there is drama added to give the reader the understanding that the unconventional is tough, but there can be a HEA.

Now I did have a few issues with this: 1. If you really love a person you don't let your parents disrespect them and scare them off. 2. Don't jump to conclusions, open your mouth and ask questions. There are better books out there that are MFM and MMF and even some FFM that are much better, but not very many that get on Audio.

"Don't let the bastards get you down." For 26 years, I lived by my daddy's motto. Which is why "Mechanic Wanted" is all it takes for me to apply for the job at the garage we once owned. And I meet the biggest bastard of them all: Dexter Ryne. Hotter than hell in July and a firm believer that my place is on reception, taking phone calls, and looking pretty. Not getting dirty under the hood of a car. Determined to prove each other wrong, we make a deal.

I have a soft spot for Mechanic's and will pick up anything with one in it. The narration needed a lot of work. I don't mind banter, but this was crossing a line. The funny banter and fighting was over the top and childish. They behaved like teens. Lets not get me started on the mechanics working under cars with shorts. Not to say I haven't but it's very uncomfortable and really hard on the knees. Even if it's so flipping hot outside, I'd rather be wearing jeans then getting down on the ground on my bare knees. When I go to a JOB interview I'm Going to dress for the JOB. If said job is for working on cars I'm wearing clothes and SHOES that are comfortable and easy to move around in with out worrying about dirty, grease and rips, not like I'm going clubbing.

This was a feel good romance. Something about the idea of a 2nd chance and teachers who were once students with a past had me interested I picked it up on Audible with the Romance Package, and I went back and used a credit to add permanently to my library. This was good and more the likely going on my Fav's shelf to re-read. Zachary Webber & Andi Arndt are a awesome narration team, and really bring the story out. I'm looking forward to the next in the series. This was funny and emotional with out excess drama, or over the top crushing pain to pull me in. I laughed and teared and was filled with joy.

The one major saving grace was I got this on Audible and the narration is very good. Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber are wonderful and do a good job. Unfortunately the twisted plot and story line that is right up there with a daytime drama.

This book was, by far everything I knew it would be and more. I could not stop reading! Tears, tears, I have tears. I always knew Hugh was a great character. Every time he came into a scene it was the greatest anticipation and excitement. Through-out the Kate Daniels series, when Hugh was there it ended up being my favorite moments to read, besides Kate and Curran's interactions. I can't wait to see what comes next.

I have the Kindle version, but with work and life getting in the way, I could not devote myself and when the audio was released I jumped on it. Now when, new narrator, to me Steve West started this, I was floored how how well he did. Yes there was some minor things adjusted like how to pronounce Hugh's name and such. It was easy to get over. What completely stopped me in my tracks was characters who are well known, in this world, having a strong accent that does not belong to them. I will not hold it against him, nor will I about the lack of pausing for chapters and switching character. That is the editors job. I would recommend anyone getting into narration do the homework if you are picking up a series that is well established. Hell, even narrators that have done 8 books of a series, make crazy mistakes, and no one else seems to care. Other then that Steve West did a fantastic job and was the characters. Can not wait to listen to things from him in the future.

This is my second Mariana Zapata book, and in all honesty, I loved it. Two things I've figured out about this author is, she can write a great story and the stories are a slow burn. I've seen a few review's that don't care for the long tale, most said they got bored or complained it was drawn out. The journey to getting to know these character's, and being along for the build up of their relationship from friends to more, was the meat of the tale. I was totally pulled in and invested. My only complaint is, I wanted more from the ending. All kinds of time and work is put into the budding friendship and very little for how they ended up. Loved the narration. Callie Dalton did a fantastic job!
