Allison Trent doesn't look like a hacker. In fact, when she's not in college working on her degree, she models on the side. But behind her gorgeous face is a brilliant mind for computers and her real love is writing - and hacking - code. Her dream is to write a new security program that could revolutionize the tech industry.

the main characters didn't seem to mesh, to have spark. There was a lot of potential, but it wasn't fulfilled. The narrator's voice was good, but it was so soothing I found myself in "the zone" and would have to go back and re-listen.

Hosting her brother's wedding for an MVP guest list is the challenge of Jess Canning's life. Already the family screw-up, she can't afford to fail. And nobody (nobody!) can learn of the colossal mistake she made with the best man during a weak moment last spring. It was wrong, and there will not be a repeat. Absolutely not. Even if he is the sexiest thing on two legs.

I was very excited to listen to this story. It sounded hilarious. But, the main characters were crass and there was quite a bit of LGBT. Definitely not what I was expecting. Other than that is was well performed and written.

Ms Kaye did a great job of balancing details, emotions, inner growth/turmoil yet keeping the tension up and the pace moving along.
There was the liberal use of the f bomb. The sex scenes are explicit. But, to me they were more steamy than crude.
Ms Cradon did a marvelous job of performing the story. I thought her speech was a bit slow at first, then I realized she was portraying the character's demeanor. As the characters changed so did the cadence of her voice for them.
I'm ready to get the next book.

Nora Roberts writes a gripping story, as usual. But what really sets this book apart from the rest is the narration. The author can have a 5 star book, but if the narration is bad it's difficult to finish listening. Julia Whelan puts so much emotion into the characters it just pulls you in and makes you feel what the characters are experiencing. Julia adds so much more to a good story line.

I can count on Julie Garwood to give me a good book that I can escape into. But I really like the ones set in the Highlands. There's nothing like a Highland warrior. (Hot flash!) But no matter how good the story, the narration really makes a difference. Heather Wilds doesn't just read the story, she brings it to life. I want to listen to more stories read by Heather Wilds.
