I don't need anyone's protection. I'm fine. But to appease my sister after a home invasion, I agree to take self-defense lessons. They just so happen to be with a big, muscled former navy SEAL who may or may not be everything I've always daydreamed about but never thought I could have. And he's dead set on looking out for me even when things in my life suddenly get complicated. Between the increasing threats against me and pressure from my wealthy family to be someone I'm not, I'm having a hard time keeping it together.

Enjoyed this book, as I always do with this series. This story didn't really have any funny moments like Aunt Tilly brings, but it was still good. It is the story of a bodyguard/former seal and a sweet, but timid and broken antiques dealer. Saint helps Auggie become stronger while still protecting him.

Initially the narration was a bit dull to me, even though these are two of my favorite narrators...I was kind of in a book funk at the time though, so maybe that had to do with it. As the book went on, I enjoyed the narration more, especially the sexy British accent.

This book was hot, made me laugh at times, and had a good story. My main complaint is that as the book approached the ending, things went way too fast. I was kind of hoping for more of a venture into the bdsm scene. The story went so quickly from them deciding to pursue something in a sexual nature to becoming completely serious and the book suddenly ending, it kind of gave me whiplash.

I do recommend this book though. It was worth the money and I am looking forward to the next one!

I’m just a simple girl who likes dessert. And sexy men. And social media. So starting an anonymous video channel called The Sexpert as a side hustle to make up for my low-paying marketing job at Le Man Magazine seemed like a perfectly sensible career decision. Until we went viral, my boss accused my anonymous personality of stealing his idea, and now my super sexy new boyfriend, Andrew, is out to get me. Her. Me. Whatever.

Loved it! I really wasn't sure what to expect, but it wasn't this! Loved the quirky, funny personalities of the characters. While the idea of the book is based on sex, the book is not full of it. It didn't need to be though. It was a great story that was lighthearted. Definitely worth the listen.

Concerned that technology is about to chase mythological creatures out into the open (how long can Sasquatch stay hidden from Google maps?), the League for Interspecies Cooperation is sending Jillian to Louisiana on a fact-finding mission. While the League hopes to hold on to secrecy for a little bit longer, they're preparing for the worst in terms of human reactions. They need a plan, so they look to Mystic Bayou, a tiny town hidden in the swamp where humans and supernatural residents have been living in harmony for generations.

This was a great book from Molly Harper and what appears to be the start of another great series. This story was cute with the usual quirkiness I love from Molly Harper's books. I listened to it all in one sitting, although I think this was a book I could also put down for a little bit and take a break too...no edge of the seat waiting for whats next. Had its somewhat steamy parts...although when it did first happen , it seemed to jump out of nowhere. While there was little bit of sexual tension at the start, I would have preferred more of a build up. All in all though, definitely worth the listen. Definitely going to listen to the next book!

We were childhood friends, me and the boy who would grow up to become Hollywood's hottest star. When I was six, I fell for him at the bus stop. When I was 15, he moved away, taking my heart with him. When I was 24, he came back for me, even though I didn't want him. The nine years we spent apart, I tried like hell to fill the void. Apparently, so did he. Instead of being addicted to me, he became addicted to women, drugs, and money.

First off, Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon did a fantastic job with narration as they always do!

This book was really just so great. Childhood friends. Life took them separate ways. Movie star and school teacher. Emotional and rough reunion, but obviously meant to be. Throw in a little "suspense" (for lack of a better word I can think of) later on in the book. Really thats giving away too much to the story already.

I will say, though, those last 30 minutes of the book had me screaming for a minute. Aggh...

But great book! Well worth the cost or credit. Can't wait to get the next one!

I didn't expect to be rescued from the worst night of my life by the most amazing man I'd ever seen. He may be shady at times and not clean cut, but he has a big heart and his end actions are always for the best.

I hope to see more books coming... Would love to see a story with Patrick!

Lauren Harper wanted four things. Respect. Success. Happiness. And to annihilate Roman Pierce. Sure, he was a smooth, smart and sexy attorney who made the senior partners at their law firm cream their pants. But he was also an annoying cocky jerk who she'd been competing with since they had both been hired over a year ago. And Lauren didn't care how amazing his smile was or how hot his body was underneath that suit - the firm-sponsored fun run had a lot to answer for - he was a ruthless, ambitious prick who would stop at nothing to climb the corporate ladder.

I didn't realize what the connection to the other books was at first, probably because I took some time in between listening to them. But I enjoyed this book just like the others. Plenty of steam, workplace romance between two people who seemingly hate each others guts. I love how they were able to keep their normal workplace relationship while still pursuing their "romantic" one.
