Scarlett is always the sensible one: The sober driver. The planner. The one holding your hair back while you're worshiping the porcelain gods. Week-after-week, she visits Jock Row with her friends - the university's hottest party scene and a breeding ground for student athletes. And if keeping her friends out of trouble and guys out of their pants was a sport, she'd be the star athlete. Being a well known jock-blocker gets her noticed for all the wrong reasons; just like that, she's banned from Jock Row. No guy wants a girl around who keeps their jock friends from getting laid.

I loved this book. Usually, I tend to listen to books that are fully of steamy sex, but this was a nice, refreshing., easy-going break from that. Scarlett is a kick-butt chick. She doesn't b.s. and doesn't let people walk all over her. She doesn't conform to others expectations of her. That alone made me love her character. Rowdy is a hot jock with an unexpectedly sweet personality, especially given the jerks that surround him. The book is angst-free, and had me smiling throughout, and didnt bore me at all. Too often do I find low-angst books that are ok but they just kind of play in the background in a way because I'm not much invested in them.
Perfect narration!

so, it took me a few chapters to get into the narration of this one. It just rubbed me the wrong way and I almost didnt continue listening. then, I must have gotten used to it or something because I loved the book after a little bit. of course nothing is as great as the night huntress novels but this one was definitely worth the listen and the start of a great new series! to make the book extra awesome you get to see some of your old favorites from night huntress again. I do kind of wish I had relistened to night huntress before this one, but the book was still great without having done so. cant wait for the next one!!

while I am still intrigued by the psy-changeling worlds, the book was a bit long and drawn out for my taste. it was more of something I listened to in the background and could pick up here and there...not so much of a book that I have to finish in one sitting because it is just that amazing.

Seriouslyy?? A freakin' cliffhanger?? It wouldn't bother me if it weren't so long of a book to end on a cliffhanger.

I did really like this book though. It was a lot different than anything I have listened to before. Witches and demons. And steamy sex scenes.

While I like both of the narrators, I wish there were more of Aiden Snow in this book. He was there every now and then but otherwise Eva Amar was the primary narrator. I love her voice and narration...except for the fact that it was sometimes a bit hard for me to tell which character she was voicing.

I really am looking forward to the next book and what is to come!

I could have impressed him, if not for last month's unforgettable one-night stand. I left it with more than orgasms and a pleasant memory - namely, his wallet. Now he's staring me down like I'm the dirt under his Italian loafers, and I'm supposed to take it. But the thing about being Judith "Jude" Humphry is I have nothing to lose. Brooklyn girl. Infamously quirky. Heir to a stack of medical bills and a tattered couch.

I really enjoyed this story. While I have only listened to a couple of books by LJ Shen, I will definitely keep her on my list of favorite authors.

Célian really is a jerk, but for some reason I still loved him from the start. He has dealt with some crappy stuff that has hardened him, so he makes it his mission to succeed with what he has passion in- his work. He is ruthless and doesn't take anyone's feelings into consideration.

Judith and her sassy attitude finally melt his icy exterior- even though he fights hard to not be affected by her. However, I do like that while she melts his icy persona, he is still the same guy. She doesn't magically change everything about him and make it far fetched...and I do enjoy that about this story. I feel that it is not something I often see in books.

loved this book! I've been in a book slump and it seemed everything was boring me. I had been putting this one off for a while and I'm so glad I had this to listen to! absolutely wonderful!

Ivory's life was so harsh and rough but she fought and did what she thought she needed to do to make it by with the shit card of a family she was handed.

emeritt had such a dark sexual appetite that I would think would clash with hers but the author made it to where he was just what she needed.

I hated what she had to go through and hated yo listen to it but it brought out the story and the characters and it really was just a well written book with two amazing narrators to make it better
