On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

If you're looking at this page, go buy and listen to The Power of Vulnerability -- IMMEDIATELY!

"Why????"

Because it's by far the best work produced on personal development in the 21st century. It also is the culmination of Brene's first 3 books.... so you basically get 3 books in one -- in Brene's own voice (which is delightful and captivating).

Since this audio program was designed by Brene as a introduction of her entire body of work to a LIVE AUDIENCE, its conversational, easy to follow, and ripe with stories, anecdotes, jokes, and personality. She makes the material come-to-life with her own voice in ways her texts can't achieve.

You will laugh, cry, scream, delight... but most importantly: you will grow grow. I consider "The Power of Vulnerability" to be required listening for anyone in the 21st century.

"What if I've already listened to her "Power of Vulnerability" TED talk or read her other books???"

You will still find this fresh and inspiring. Do yourself a favor... there's NOTHING better you could listen to right now... don't wait. Buy it. Listen.

After you finish listening to this, I guarantee you'll be pissed that it's not longer -- and that you will never be able to experience it 'for the first time' again. But that's why you'll share it with all your friends or write a review like this one (which I just did).

Congratulations for finding this audiobook... now go listen to it already and feed your heart all of Brene Brown's deliciously nutritious warmth and goodness!

With his trademark wit, wisdom, and humor, best-selling author and lecturer Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explains how we can evolve from the lowest level of consciousness (ego) to the highest (unity). Dr. Dyer starts out with a challenge from A Course in Miracles: "You don't have any problems; you only think you do." He goes on to illustrate how the mind can control both physical and emotional well-being, all one has to do is create healthy, positive molecules and move away from negative thoughts.

Reminds me Elvis's 68 comeback special. SO GOOD. Wayne is on fire. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll learn. Highly recommended.

Welcome to Derry, Maine. It's a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real. They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But the promise they made 28 years ago calls them to reunite in the same place where, as teenagers, they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city's children.

I read a few reviews saying the editing is off for this... and I nearly didn't listen to it. Those reviewers I think were a bit confused because occasionally the last few words of a sentence will be continued in the next chapter... this is fairly common for writers to do so I wasn't too concerned. Also listening on double speed it just felt like a 1-second cliffhanger. On normal speed maybe people get a bit more anxious about it?

Either way -- I highly recommend this. It was awesome!!!!
