When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final installment of her international best-selling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back. Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee - smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot. She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees-only entrance. But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

.. I really liked this book, but it probably could have been six or seven, maybe even 8 chapters shorter. It was a sweet story and of course York and Arndt are always a plus for any book. I do have to admit that when Sebastian York reads a story about a really sweet guy, it's nice, since usually his character is ruthless and stern and he has to learn to be good. Not the best book, but it kept my attention and I enjoyed it.

Dean Sharp is a breathtakingly gorgeous, arrogant, and an asshole. At least that’s my first impression when he knocks out my abusive boyfriend. When we get home, I know my boyfriend’s going to make me pay for what Dean did. But Dean Sharp isn’t done meddling in my life. He grabs me from outside my motel, throws me in his car, and says I’m his hostage. He doesn’t want money, though. He wants me to pretend to be his fiancee so his daughter and brothers don’t suspect anything. And he says he won’t let me go until he’s sure I’ll never go back to my abusive boyfriend.

Who writes this crap and more to the point, who actually reads it and likes it??? Let’s face it, you get what you pay for, and at free, I never should have believed the reviews. Stay as far away from this junk you can. Watching rerun on TV is better. After listening painfully to 4 or 5 chapters, I’d had enough. Use a Audible credit or join the Romance Package, but don’t read free Kindle books, unless it’s a cookbook.

I really REALLY wanted to like this book. Unfortunately after reading 15 chapters I was so bored that I skipped to the last 2. I knew there was an actual story in there somewhere but it took so long to get there or to get anywhere that I just lost interest. I’m a BIG Joe Arden fan but Erin Mallory’s voice has a tendency to put me to sleep. If you like l o n g drawn out stories that go on forever about nothing, then after 25 chapters, gets started, go ahead and read this one. There are other, much better books calling my name.

This wasn't supposed to be my life. One phone call was all it took to bring me back to the small town I had grown up in. Everything had changed, and staying away was no longer an option. Four and a half years later, I was a widowed single father still here, still trying to pick up the pieces. We were doing fine on our own, my little girl and me. At least, we were until Camryn Parker stumbled into our lives. The woman was like a tornado after a hurricane; she was the storm I never saw approaching. Behind her beauty and sarcastic wit, she was just as broken as I pretended not to be.

A beautiful love story with characters that I fell in live with. Teddy Hamilton brought the words to life, making the connection between father and daughter so sweet that I wanted to be part of it. Callie Dalton spoke Cameron as if she knew her. This one is a keeper. I’ve never read K. Street before but I’m going to check out other books she’s written. Use a credit on this one, it’s well worth it!

It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.” Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true. The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there.

This story must have been good because it made me cry at the end. I always enjoy Sebastian York’s narration, but paired with Lynn Barrington made this book clearly different then when he reads with Andi Arndt.
Reed and Charlotte are adorable and delightfully hot together. For me, there was just enough angst to keep me listening, yet not so much that it made my stomach hurt..
This book is well worth the romantic credit.

It’s really too bad that SO MANY of the books in the “ROMANCE PACKAGE” are SO horrible. Maybe they just shouldn’t offer it. I’ve tried to read some but barely a few are stories that can actually hold anyone’s attention. This book was awful from the start. I couldn’t get through 4 chapters. You just know when not finishing a book is going to happen. Anyone who gave this more than 1 star, (deserved 0) ...well, just don’t bother.

I’ve been searching for a good book for weeks that would suck me in from the start and not let me go until the last words were spoken. After hating and not being able to finish, book after book, I finally hit on this one. Great story, characters I loved, and narrated by K.C. Sheridan, who’s accent is adorable, even when she’s trying not to use it. This is true ROMANCE at its best!
