I was so glad for this book to finally end. The author was hunting every molecule that moved so he could write it down. It took three pages to raise his arm. I haven't returned a book yet but this one is going back.

I should have known after the fourth chapter, anything a character did took an entire chapter ,as in too get some honey from a hive......on and on. I could not believe how many bad guys came out of nowhere and datadatada the hero saves the day at the last possible second. Truly a waste of money. I will definitely put this author on my do not buy list.

As a prepper, Grayson Rowan was prepared for almost anything...anything other than being totally alone when the sh*t hits the fan. While he sat back and watched the US rattle swords with Korea, play chicken with Russia, and strong-arm China, he felt sure if the lights went out that he and his family would be ready and safe. What he wasn't prepared for was his family not being home if it ever happened. Olivia Rowan is with her sisters, Gabby and Emma, on a girls-only trip to Myrtle Beach. Graysie Rowan, a freshman at university, just wants to go home.

I made the mistake of buying all three audio books, I was soooo glad this drivel finally ended The author spent more cute time writing about the shallow characters than the whole bloody mess the author calls a book. My fault I enjoyed a different book and was thoroughly disappointed in this series. The narrator was speed reading throughout the whole series, which I suppose was a good thing . Mr and Mrs Hero was sickenly sweet to each other and then were cursing like a drunken sailor at each other as soon as the next sentence. (Baby, will you go do something for me you &$%3% or I will cut your &$%3 off. Baby this ,baby that like preteen yuck !) Most of the book was a teenage love story .If you were not Mr hero.the narrator gave the other characters a "duh" voice and the.young children was constantly telling Mr Hero he was "so awesome". Mr Hero knew everything, saw everything and if you didn't like it Mr Hero would beat the &$+%&#%$ out of you.I have never returned a book but I am going to try with pile of crap.

Nope, if you wanted to read about constant death and nobody but en alcoholic hero

Overall
2 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 03-07-17

This author has some real talent but this storyline is nothing but constant death where the only one who makes it through is the alcoholic hero whom is at the top of his game with a killer hangover. Not me, I don't like everyone dying except the drunken hero who miraculous escape at the last possible second gets very tedious and predictable.
Soylent Green with a poor storyline !
