It is started off great. However, once I realized there was likely to be a lot of angst and sorrow, I decided I didn't want to read it. I think if you like apocalyptic stories, this would be a winner. Just not the type of story I enjoy spending time on. I'm more of a vamp/were person.

So the second half was a lot better than the first half of the story. Slade sounded like a 14 year old going thru puberty. Why a doctor would be interested in him is beyond me. Sad to think Fury is number 2 in command and this guy is right behind him. If he's supposed to be that much better than the other guys, the author missed the boat in portraying him. Tricia was great. Listen to get her story and know it's more like a penthouse letter than a story. I hope Valiant is better.
