Dima Zales and Anna Zaires have done it again! These new age authors have the amazing ability to draw you into the story and keep your attention focused on it. The pace is fast but not confusing. The Mind Dimension series is very creative and full of twists and turns. For those who missed the first three books, I highly recommend that you get started on them. It's really a worthy read. I also like Roberto Scarlato as the narrator for the Mind Dimensions series. His voice is clear and crisp, evoking ample emotion of the scene at the right moment. His voice helps the reader stay focused on the main character's development in the story. Darren's journey in the series of discovering more about himself and his special abilities builds up the suspense and makes the reader want to accompany the hero till the end. I could not stop listening with the anticipation to find out what happens next.

This is indeed a science fiction thriller that has quite an interesting story line. The development of the main character as he gradually experiments on his “gift” leaves you tied down to listening to this audiobook, plus the fact that it was easy listening thanks to the narrator’s voice. Although there was a certain sense of predictability in the flow of the story, the author keeps the listener engaged with twists applied at the right moments. I liked the way the story uniquely turned out. Looking forward to the next in the Mind Dimensions series.

I was really looking forward to reading this sequel to The Sorcery Code. The story had me glued every step of the way till the end. This 2nd volume, The Spell Realm doesn’t disappoint. It takes off where The Sorcery Code ends. I was enthralled with the narrative description of the Spell Realm, and the authors continued to give life to the main characters with more action and intrigue as they try to keep the balance of the Physical Realm and the Spell Realm. Emily Durante kept the story alive with her engaging rendition of each of the characters’ voices and painted the imagery of the fantasy worlds. I liked her voice better in this 2nd book. Her voice has the quality that evokes a spectrum of emotions for each character, unlike other narrators that try too hard to differentiate voices sounding faked and forced as a result. The Spell Realm is truly a story for every fantasy lover like me. A definite MUST and highly recommended book!"

The Sorcery Code grabs your fascination right from the start. Throughout the story, the characters were well-developed and I liked the way the story was told with each chapter was entitled with the characters that the chapter is about. This way the story of love, war and magic develops spellbindingly, from the perspective of each main character. The writing is descriptive and engaging. There was never a dull moment. Emily Durante does a wonderful narration of the story. I loved her voice as Gala which was soft and delicate like the character, and turns husky, rough and bold as Barson. I definitely enjoyed The Sorcery Code and am so looking forward to the next volume. This is a compelling fantasy epic that you can’t tear yourself from. I highly recommend the Sorcery Code to anyone who loves a worthwhile fantasy read!
