I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

Luck Suit is Lauren Blakey's newest fun, short, sweet and sexy story with another lovable character from Birthday Suit. I loved Birthday Suit so much, I hope every one of those characters gets their own story! Lucky Suit is an audible release first and as you all know, I love me some LAUREN audio! Of course Zachary and Andi were fantastic as always. They just have the perfect voices to portray the emotions Cameron and Kristen. Kristen's grandma knows Cameron is perfect for her granddaughter so she sets them up. In a very funny and unique way. They instantly click, but they aren't really who they think they are. When they meet in person they have fantastic chemistry and really want to get to know each other better, but can they trust what they really feel or is it all part of the set up? The humor, the witty banter and the slow burn were perfection.

I don't need anyone's protection. I'm fine. But to appease my sister after a home invasion, I agree to take self-defense lessons. They just so happen to be with a big, muscled former navy SEAL who may or may not be everything I've always daydreamed about but never thought I could have. And he's dead set on looking out for me even when things in my life suddenly get complicated. Between the increasing threats against me and pressure from my wealthy family to be someone I'm not, I'm having a hard time keeping it together.

His Saint is the fifth book in the Forever Wilde series by the talented Lucy Lennox. It can be read out of order, I listened to the audio and haven't read the other books in the series. Lucy and Michael Pauley are such a great combo! Saint takes a new job as a bodyguard and it turns out Augie, the man he's watching, is sexy as sin and he can't think straight around him. Augie is in danger and Saint has vowed to protect him with his own life. As they get to know each other better, the sparks fly. Their relationship grows and it's sweet, sexy and intense. I enjoyed watching them fall in love and it just made me want to go back and read the whole series!

Like the Wind is the first book I've read from J. Bengtsson and I listened to the audio. Zachary Webber and Callie Dalton are fantastic, as always! Bodhi and Breeze meet under extraordinary circumstances. They are caught in a fire and he saves her and a gaggle of pets she's taking care of. Because of the fear of death and surviving such a horrible thing together, their connection is intense and immediate. Bodhi is a pop star whose life has gotten out of control and he uses this time away to be who he wants to be. Breeze is carefree, fun and doesn’t treat him like a star. He's just Bodhi. Together they give each other what they have been missing. And Breeze shows Bodhi who he wants to be. But once the smoke settles, can they survive the real world together? What happens when his life overshadows hers? I really enjoyed this story. I love a good audio book and really enjoyed listening to Zachary and Callie. I will definitely be adding more J. Bengtsson books to my TBR.

Out in the End Zone is the second book in the Out in College series by the fabulous Lane Hayes. I'm a newish fan of Lane's and I'm so happy I discovered her. I've been looking forward to this story since the end of Out in the Deep!
As always, Michael Pauley was fantastic! I love how he uses his voice to show emotion. He brings these characters to life!

Evan is Derek's roommate. He's handsome, a little silly, funny, tells it like it is and better at relationships than he thinks. And he's Italian and I always have a soft spot for my fellow Italians. Mitch is Derek's friend and they don't really know each other too well until one night at a party. There has always been something about Mitch that calls to Evan. Mitch is pretty and fun and out. Evan is bi and not quite forthcoming about his status. But he knows love is love and he's comfortable with who he is. This story takes place at the same time as Derek and Gabe's and I loved how the same thing was going on with Evan and Derek. Mitch needs help with his senior project and Evan is the perfect person. Who would believe the straight, sexy football player is gay? But as Evan and Mitch pretend for the cameras their attraction becomes real. Mitch doesn't want to force Evan to do something he's not comfortable with, Evan needs to do it on his own. They both have painful pasts when it comes to love and trust. Can they put the past behind them and try to move forward together? I loved this story! Evan is just so perfect. He's adorkable, sexy, and actually romantic. I love how open he is with his feelings and how he shows Mitch that he wants him. Mitch is hilarious! I love how free he is. He knows who he is and he doesn’t care what people think. Evan and tall and dark and Mitch is smaller and light. They are opposites who fit perfectly together! Overall, I laughed, teared up, swooned, got hot and bothered and laughed some more. I loved the ending and I can't wait for more on this series!

I read Out in the Deep and then listened to the audio and I just love the way Michael Pauley brings these characters to life. Derek and Gabe are water polo college rivals until Gabe transfers. Now they are teammates. And they have to get along and work together. Derek doesn't like Gabe. Always found him too confident and obnoxious. Having him around gives him anxiety and he needs to focus and graduate. Gabe has watched Derek compete over the years and always had a little thing for him. When Derek gets drunk one night, things heat up between them. Hate turns into something seriously hot and unexpected. Derek always knew he might be attracted to men too, but there is something about Gabe that makes him lose his mind. Can they have a real relationship while being teammates and trying to achieve their dreams? I loved watching these two fall in love! It was sexy as sin, sweet and fun. It was all new for Derek and he was so darn cute asking questions and willing to try anything. Gabe took good care of him, let him relax and just feel. The writing is great, the story well developed and the characters wonderful!

Next in Line is the second book in the Wait With Me series by Amy Daws. I'm a little afraid to say this is my first book by Amy, but it definitely won't be my last! I saw the release of the audio and knew I had to get my hands on it. Teddy and Erin are two of my favorite narrators and they were fantastic! The writing is great, that characters fun, smart and hilarious. But let's talk about Sam for a minute, shall we? This is what I love about listening to an audio where I haven't read the book. I don’t know what's going to happen and the voices paint the picture for me. First of all, Sam is a ginger. With a beard. It's like my kryptonite! Second, he's a loving son, brother and uncle! Third, he's over thirty, has his life together, is doing a job he loves! Fourth, he's sexy, sweet, smart, and fun. Fifth, he's sexy. It needs to be mentioned again. Teddy brought Sam to life for me that I didn't stop listening until it was over. I love Erin's voice and she gave Maggie that little spark she needed. I also love Erin's male voice! Sam and Maggie meet. Ice fishing! They have crazy hot chemistry, share a kiss and then go their separate ways. Only to find out Maggie is Sam's best friend's sister! They cannot cross that line. Miles would kill them both. But they can't stay away from each other. Maggie has some baggage she's trying to get over and she really doesn't know how fabulous she is. Sam is going to show her by teaching her to be adventurous and showing her how a real man treats a woman. I admit, I was frustrated with Maggie and how long she held onto the past. She knew what she wanted and she was afraid. She is a lot younger than Sam, so I just took it for her being young. It didn't deter me from really loving this story though! Overall, it's one of those audiobooks I could listen to again! And…I can't wait for more in the series!

Leo fell for Lulu when he met her, but then she became his best friend's woman. He never acted on or spoke about his feelings, just went on with his life. Mostly. Now, Lulu's back in his life and a lot has changed over the last few years. Once he sees her all the feelings come rushing back. But he's a gentleman and a professional and when they start to work together, they rekindle their friendship. When a New York City wide scavenger hunt sends him, Lulu and a few coworkers out into the city, he falls for her all over again. But things are different now. Could they possibly have a chance? Lulu has finally gotten her life back on track. Her business is thriving, she's also working for Leo's company and having so much fun reconnecting with her old friend. Solving riddles and running around Manhattan is the most fun she's had a in a long time. She's finally let go of her past, the guilt and the pain. Leo is back in her life and she forgot how much she missed having him around. But, now that there's no one else around, she's seeing a new side of Leo. Was he always this handsome? This sexy? This thoughtful? Wow. What happens when her feelings of friendship quickly move into so much more. She wants Leo. Covered in chocolate. In his birthday suit. Uh oh! She doesn’t want to find herself in the same position she was in years ago with her career. Can she find the happy balance between her love of her work and this new found love of her friend, Leo? This story! Wow. It's full of happiness, emotion, pain, joy, sexiness, humor, riddles, friendship and chocolate. Oh, the chocolate! Lulu is adorable, fun, a little wacky and funny! Leo is sexy, thoughtful, handsome and just a really nice guy! I loved watching Leo and Lulu find themselves in each other. Enjoy being friends again. Eating delicious chocolate. Solving puzzles and falling in love!

Sullivan and Will are as close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on each other, and they've become accustomed to sharing everything - including women. Now they're ready for more. To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they've shared since childhood come true. Apparently I tick off every box on their list - brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in their places - which they find sexy as hell. One problem, I'm a traditional girl, with traditional values - one man, one woman, till death do us part - kind of values.

Hadley Jacobs is over Machlan Gibson. Sure, she’ll always be a little weak to the dimple in his right cheek and the way his five o’clock shadow makes him ruggedly handsome. But that’s not enough to cover every other thing about him because they all drive her nuts. Like how he won’t admit he’s wrong even when he knows it and how he drives his stupid car a million miles an hour on wet asphalt. Crave is the third book in The Gibson Boys series. I read the book then listened to the audio and I even though I knew what was going to happen, I was sucked into the story listening to Wen and Kai. I loved how they brought these characters I already loved to life!
Ya'll, these brothers. I can't even with them! When I first started this series I didn't have a favorite and that's very unlike me. Now that I've met Walker, Lance and now Machlan, I still don't have a favorite! (Cross too!) I love them all for such different reasons. Walker is tough and mouthy. Lance is smooth and sexy. Machlan is broody and tortured. I have a soft spot for the tortured soul and Mach just needs a really big Kara hug! Machlan and Hadley have a long history. Not only is she his first love, she's also his best friend's sister, so this one got me right in the feels with the second chance romance and the best friend's sister! At first you think it's love hate, but there's zero hate. It's all foreplay. Sizzling chemistry, wounded hearts. Lust, love, promises. Machlan has always loved Hadley. They were happy years ago, but he never thought he was good enough for her and he let her walk away. Now she's back to prove to herself that she can be over Machlan. But seeing him isn't helping the way she thought. His protectiveness and jerkiness isn't a turn off at all and what does that say about her? Machlan can't stay away from her. He knows he should, but he always knows when she's close to him and he can't deny himself anymore. One kiss lights their lives on fire again, but can it last? Will this finally be their time? Can they get over their shared past and hurt and make the leap? This story! I cried for them. I laughed with them. I swooned with Hadley and I smirked with Machlan. There's so much more to Machlan than I thought. I loved watching him realize his worth and finally making a decision. Of course, I loved seeing the Gibson brothers again along with a few surprise visitors. The Gibsons give each other such a hard time, but they love each other! I love the way they interact and I just have to say I love the way they curse even when Nana smack them. I loved seeing the girls again and see what's going on with them. Overall, it was like visiting with old friends. I laughed, cried, got hot and bothered and smiled. A lot. I can't wait to see what Peck gets up to next!
