Lieutenant Diana Burke will not give up. Though her missing person case had gone stone cold, something about the disappearance of Kinley Chandler doesn't make sense. But the last place the detective expects to find her is the highlands of medieval Scotland. Bodyguard Tharaen Aber needs another security complication like he needs the plague. But the ingenious lass he catches sneaking around Dun Aran castle couldn't be more opposite. As skilled a tracker as he's ever seen, she lends her aid at every opportunity, but the complications she brings to his heart aren't nearly as easily solved.

Another entertaining listen in this Immortal Highlander series. Tharaen and Diana’s story has some good twists and though some were a bit creepy for my tastes, they were still interesting. I must admit to fast forwarding parts of this book, especially some of the scenes with the undead leader. I really liked both main characters and it was nice having characters from the first book included in the storyline. All in all it was very entertaining. William MacLeod is an amazing narrator and adds so much to the enjoyment of the listening experience. I look forward to the next book in the series. I was looking forward to this story as I have really enjoyed all the other books I have read or listened to by this author, however this one just didn’t do it for me. Though the story was really well written, as usual, I couldn’t connect with the characters or the storyline. Others may enjoy a theme park setting (Harry Potter style) , I just felt the couple was little too old for it. The narrator did do an excellent job wth the narration. I was given a free copy for an honest review.

This was an intriguing, action packed suspenseful story. Katerina Carter is a forensic accountant and is hired to find money stolen by an executive of the company. Little does she know she will come into contact with mobsters, conflict diamonds, organized crime and even murder. There is a lot of detail included in this story describing the financial aspects of accounting, including money laundering, stock exchange, etc. It also goes into a lot of detail describing the world of conflict diamonds. Though it is educational it is at times daunting. I did however enjoy the story very much and thought the narration was excellent. Petrea Burchard did an amazing job with all the voices and made listening to this book an enjoyable experience. I received a free copy of this audiobook, however I voluntarily submit this unbiased review.

I found this a fairly good story and D.C. Cole’s narration was exceptional, as usual. Unfortunately I struggled with the female narrator. There was just something about her voice that I found difficult to listen to thus it distracted from the story for me and it took me awhile to get through the book. The four stars I have given for performance are for D.C. Cole. I wouldn’t have finished the book if it hadn’t been for him. I see other reviewers enjoyed both narrators so don’t let my opinion discourage you from trying the book....The story really is enjoyable.

This was an entertaining and action packed story with one of the best narrations I’ve ever heard! Eric Bryan Moore did an amazing job with the narration of this book. The accents he does are outstanding and the inflections and emotions he puts into it made the book so entertaining. The story was great in itself. It was action packed and the humor throughout made it that much better. When I chose this book I was certainly curious as to how it was going to go and how I would like it. I needn’t have worried, it was amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to another by this author staring Damian Stockwell and narrated by Eric Bryan Moore of course!

This was a very sweet, heartwarming story. Trevor Dawber and Mae are such a delightful couple and their story was realistic and down to earth. Not knowing a thing about fishing I was a bit lost in some parts of this story, however it did manage to hold my interest. The secondary characters in the story were all likable and really added to the story. The narrators did a fabulous job with the narration. The voices were all clear and distinguishable and they showed emotion when and where it was necessary. I especially liked the fact that Alex did all the male voices and Bo did the female voices. This made the book so much more enjoyable! (I wish all audiobooks were like this when there are male and female narrators instead of having them switch chapter by chapter!) I absolutely loved this story and know I will go back and listen to it, and to the previous books in this series, again and again in the future. Adam and Margaret’s story is emotional, exciting and filled with unexpected twists and turns. It was so emotional when Adam realized that his love was still alive but didn’t know him. I loved the way the author handled this storyline and little Jamie was a delight. Mary Morgan has a gift for taking you into the story and making you feel like you are right there watching the characters in person. The good characters in this entire series were enchanting and I found myself caring for them all. The villain was so evil you could feel the emotional pull of wanting him caught. I was delighted to read Adam’s note at the end of the book. I just am not ready to let go of the Dragon Knights! I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. Jamie Dione does an outstanding job with the narration. His voices and inflections are wonderful and he made it an enjoyable listening experience. I have no qualms recommending this book or any of the other books in this series; they are all well worth the cost or a credit!
