Lo Blacklock, a journalist who writes for a travel magazine, has just been given the assignment of a lifetime: a week on a luxury cruise with only a handful of cabins. The sky is clear, the waters calm, and the veneered, select guests jovial as the exclusive cruise ship, the Aurora, begins her voyage in the picturesque North Sea. At first Lo's stay is nothing but pleasant: The cabins are plush, the dinner parties are sparkling, and the guests are elegant. But as the week wears on, frigid winds whip the deck, and gray skies fall.

The story's plot was very interesting, taking a few unexpected. It is a little slow to start but keeps you guessing through the end. The character development and relationships create a full world to fully immerse yourself in.

The narration was great, Church gives life to the story as if she herself had written the words. Her different character voices were well done and helpful to painting the characters' images. Overall Church makes a good story even better.

Bernadette Fox is notorious. To her Microsoft-guru husband, she's a fearlessly opinionated partner; to fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace; to design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to 15-year-old Bee, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom.

Then Bernadette disappears. It began when Bee aced her report card and claimed her promised reward: a family trip to Antarctica. But Bernadette's intensifying allergy to Seattle - and people in general - has made her so agoraphobic that a virtual assistant in India now runs her most basic errands.

Laurie Moran's professional life is a success - her television show, Under Suspicion, is a hit in both the ratings and its record of solving cold cases. But her romantic break from former host Alex Buckley has left her with on-air talent she can't stand - Ryan Nichols - and a sense of loneliness, despite her loving family. Now Ryan has suggested a new case. Three years ago Virginia Wakeling was found in the snow after being thrown from the museum's roof on the night of its most celebrated fund-raiser, the Met Gala.

Loved the last 3 books, Jan made the characters come alive, you knew which character was talking. The latest book with Heather, I had a hard time following the characters, they all sounded the same. I was really looking forward to this book till I found out Jan wasn't narrating it. The ending seemed rushed bit, not a lot of wrap up but I still liked the story.

When Broadway diva Veronica Cagney is caught with the smoking gun over her dead husband, the private eye she hired pulls out all the stops to protect her in this 1940s noir inspired novelette. The fun really begins when the detective starts to piece together a puzzle of intrigue and murder as he finds himself involved with a gangster, the local sheriff, and the beautiful mistress of the victim. A fun little who-dunnit for a cold winter's night.

Before Liz Lemon, before "Weekend Update," before "Sarah Palin," Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV. She has seen both these dreams come true. At last, Tina Fey's story can be told....
