This is a wonderful guide to the spiritual truths we all instinctively understand. Each sentence leading one into the other, into paragraphs, into pages, into chapters, into a wonderful panoramic view of the entire universe and how we fit into it. I have to say that I had to speed up the performance by about 10% because of the cadence that the performer maintained. It's tedious otherwise. But towards the end, I began to realize that the cadence was part of this rhythmic flow that pulled me into a frame of mind that was receptive to the idea. Such a soothing book. something I'll read over and over again throughout the remainder of my life.

It's worse than a melodrama on PBS. Bob Woodward is known for impeccable content verification from multiple sources. In view of that, this is extremely troubling and heartbreaking. To think that our democracy has become so unraveled, it's really so sad.

It's better I think, to be sad and informed then peacefully blissful and ignorant and consequently vulnerable to the manipulations of megalomaniacs and narcissists.

In the greatest intelligence operation in the history of the world, Donald Trump was made president of the United States with the assistance of a foreign power. For the first time, The Plot to Destroy Democracy reveals the dramatic story of how blackmail, espionage, assassination, and psychological warfare were used by Vladimir Putin and his spy agencies to steal the 2016 US election. It will show how Russia and its fifth column allies tried to flip the cornerstones of democracy in order to reengineer the world political order that kept most of the world free since since 1945....

Once again, Malcolm Nance does a superb job of explaining this extremely complicated subject. In the process, he reminds us what the heart of our beloved democracy truly is.

Nance explains the well-established techniques and philosophies of the Russian spy agencies. How they are applied and how they have been appearing in our own Society, elections, government and current affairs. Current events begin to make sense and finally become clear through this broadening of perspective.

Mr. Nance is careful to avoid fear-mongering or dire predictions. Only the stark reality of what is going on now, not in the speculative sense but truly fact based and documented. Decades of experience in the national Security Services support each chapter. Absolutely a must-read!

The Founding Fathers tried to protect us from the threat they knew, the tyranny that overcame ancient democracy. Today, our political order faces new threats, not unlike the totalitarianism of the 20th century. We are no wiser than the Europeans who saw democracy yield to fascism, Nazism, or communism. Our one advantage is that we might learn from their experience.
