Simply Love audiobook cover art

Team Balogh and Landor Do It Again

Simply Love is well written, there is a real plot and character development. It is fairly faithful to the time period. The narration was very well done. I enjoyed this book and will continue with the series.

I really did struggle to finish this. The plot was missing. The narrator didn't help. I feel like it was a waste of time.

This book was so awful that I couldn't finish it. The dialogue was atrocious. The plot was terrible and the narrator made the lead male sound like a moron. This is just my opinion , it seems like a lot of people enjoyed it. Personally, I cannot reccomend it.

I just didn't care for the narrator of the story. His performance was fine but I find his "female" voice very unappealing.

I enjoy Georgette Heyer. I wish this wasn't abridged and I could have done without the music. The music was fine but I would prefer it not to be part of this production. That is just my personal preference.

I am not reviewing the book, merely this production of it. It seemed like a well done production for the most part. Unfortunately , I was unable to understand any of Poirot's lines because the actor used such a heavy accent. I played and replayed until I was so frustrated that I just gave up. It is a shame because the rest of it seemed very well done.
