Audiobooks are my primary form of entertainment. I go through 12-15 a month. I have just over 1000 books on my hard drive from before audible, and 900 on my audible account. I have written 13 reviews. I don't write reviews often, It would be a full-time job. So when I do write one, I feel the book really deserves a review.

It can be hard to find a writer who can make a character believable and enjoyable. Thank you Mr. Rothman, as soon as I finished I bought your 3 other books. One out already, and the two on pre-order. I usually refrain from buying preorder. I went ahead and spent my credits. Very well done.

Painful. The main character has the scruples and wisdom of petty thief with 0 redeeming qualities. The first 20 minutes is an explanation of how everything in the characters life is someone else's fault.

I can not remember a narrator who has failed so miserably. After every 2nd word the narrator gasps a breath of air. listening to him reads like this.

The dog <gasp> has no<gasp> fur on <gasp> his tail. <gasp>.

Good lord, you know the publisher knew this would be a stinker of a book, by the hiring of a wheezy asthmatic gap tooth bumbler.

*************
Well after a lengthy listen, i could only take so much, i can say the following. Start at chapter 60, to get 99% of the book. if you only need 90%, start at 74.

Besides the whiney to fast narrator, i am saddled with a social justice warrior mental hand job. I certainly do not need to explain this crap fest to my kids. Nor do i feel like being subjected 12 hours of political diatribe. If I wanted that, I would listen to a presidential debate.
