I really enjoyed this audiobook, as well as the kindle version. Love the narrator! I think I'd buy anything just based off seeing her name. There's good world building as this is the first book in a series. The story takes you through some things and you'll experience different emotions while enjoying it. I like how headstrong the heroine is and appreciate how she stays true to herself. Love makes people change, but she remains dedicated to improving the lives of her people. I really liked the cultural barriers between the two lovers. It was good to be reminded that he is an actual alien that knows nothing about humans. But he becomes open to learning and growing...after some trials. Nice love story and world building. Again, great narrator. You won't regret getting this one.

A nice mix of violence and sex

I enjoyed this audiobook and I'd definitely listen to it again. Overall, I enjoyed Max and Blu's story; they had chemistry and the attraction seemed obvious from the beginning. I hope to find out more about who she's looking for and how she actually finds this person. It's a short story, but things still move at a decent pace, not rushed. It does connect the previous story and leads you into whatever will come next. I hope there can eventually be a happy ending for them.

I don't believe I've ever listened to any of Patrick Zeller's work, but he was good. I have listened to Adenrele Ojo, and she was also good. There were a few errors regarding the names of characters, but not enough to be a huge problem. Also, not so keen on the Irish accent during the few times it was utilized. However, that could be because I'm comparing it to the previous book/narrator.

I love this series!

Would you consider the audio edition of Chained to be better than the print version?

Yes! I tried to read the print version but it didn't draw me in and I kept putting it down. But the audiobook definitely pulls you in. I've listened to it like 5 times.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Chained?

The most memorable moments are when Caden and Gwen realize they have feelings for each other. From the moment they meet sparks fly and those moments just get better as the book progresses.

Have you listened to any of Eric Burns’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This was my first time listening to this narrator. I'm glad I gave it a try, he's really good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The bedding ceremony. I felt so bad for Gwen that she had to endure such a thing. It was hard to get through, even as a listener.

Any additional comments?

This audiobook is a great way to start this series. It's so good and I can listen to it over and over again.

Where does Her Viking Wolf rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's pretty high up there. It's a book I'd definitely listen to again and again.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I think the main couple would be my favorite. Chloe and Fenris are good apart but great together. I think they mesh well, once they find their way.

Which scene was your favorite?

Towards the end of the book when Fenris sends Chloe back to her time to save her and the baby. It's a really sweet scene and shows how far they've come with their love for one another.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, no extreme reactions.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed the Kindle version and I'm glad I purchased the audiobook. It's worth it, definitely a good listen.
