I am and have always loved anything written by Nicholas Sparks. This book is by far in my opinion the best book he has written to date.
The chance meeting and instant connection of Hope and Tru was destined to happen as was their love. The Right person at the wrong time is often something that happens to people more often than not, and so it was for them. Mr. Sparks is an excellent storyteller And his detail of Zimbabwe in the country of Africa are amazing. The Story of TRU’s life growing up in Zimbabwe the loss of his mother and the subsequent story of why he never knew his father were heart wrenching and sad. Finally going back to North Carolina to find the love of his life again gives one hope that there is a true love that will never die for each of us.

The Bodine ranch and resort in western Montana is a family business, an idyllic spot for vacationers. A little over thirty thousand acres and home to four generations, it's kept running by Bodine Longbow with the help of a large staff, including new hire Callen Skinner. There was another member of the family once: Bodine's aunt, Alice, who ran off before Bodine was born. She never returned, and the Longbows don't talk about her much. The younger ones, who never met her, quietly presume she's dead.

This book was so different from the normal Nora Roberts that I have grown to love. As I listened to it I could picture the horrific way Alice was treated and feel her heartbreak over the babies Sir took away. I pictured the ranch and resort. The characters as always become real people and make you feel emotions and hope for them and their families. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone who reads her books and anyone who doesn't yet.
Ms.Roberts is an awesome writer and this book is another shining example of how well she does it.
